VPS (BGP) Recommendations

LumonixLumonix Member, Host Rep

Anyone got any recommendations for providers in these locations that offer BGP (full table) and are directly connected to Tier 1's? Tier 2 connectivity is fine, but T1 is preferred.
No Path or CosmicGuard!!!

Price point: Around $4-5/mo per, a bit flexible on that.
Minimum VM Spec: 2C4GB30GB - 1gbps 4TB
Locations:

  • Seattle, WA
  • San Jose/San Francisco, CA
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • Ashburn, VA
  • New York, NY
  • Miami, FL

Appreciate any recommendations! Merry Christmas 🙂

Self-bump. Not exactly Seattle, but not too far away (Spokane, WA) and on the SIX. BGP has been free (temporarily) as we iron out the process internally, and the one-time setup fee* will remain free for VDS/Dedicated products afterwards.

    Merry Christmas :)

Can't yet vouch for you since I am not a customer (have 2 small VPSs planned for next year) I do like crunchbits, I recommend you go with him.

Why no Path or Cosmic guard? Those normally only filter inbound.

  • What do you use BGP for? I searched the internet but only got technical details.

  • If anyone provides BGP VPS with good cost performance, you can contact me. I need BGP VPS in many areas for a long time.

How long have you used them for?

I've been using vultr for about 2 months, it's stopped at the moment, and now I've been using xentain for 1 month, but I don't have problems with it not working.
Out of curiosity, I did a test.

Geekbench test failed and low memory was detected. Add at least 1GB of SWAP or use GB4 instead (higher compatibility with low memory systems).
