MORE CRAZY DEALS ==> HP 24 core/64GB/dual SSD at our FORMER UK GOVERNMENT facility

ecomukecomuk Member, Patron Provider

Hi again everyone

We sold out all our E3 machines (here) within a couple of days of offering them so I know there are plenty of people waiting to see what our next offer will be. We can't blame them of course, because who wouldn't want the bragging rights of saying they host in an ex-Government secret spy communications facility?. That's not all though, because all our servers come with a unmetered 1gbps uplink as standard connected to our own backbone and high capacity edge network so you get amazing network performance too!

You can read a little more about the site here creslowpark.com or on Wikipedia here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creslow_Park

Not heard of us before? We have over 20 years experience of the dedi and colo market (I sold my first dedi server back in 2002!) so rest assured that we know what we are doing. In the past few years have concentrated on a select number of private clients rather than mass market offers. However, with 160kW of capacity in our own facility now online we are ready to get back in to the dedi market with a vengeance!

  • RAM: 32GB
  • SSD: 240GB SSD
  • Uplink: 1gbps unmetered
  • IP addresses: 1x v4 (ask for more if required) 1x v6 (routed blocks also available)

    • £49/month

Both offers AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY WITH UBUNTU SERVER 22.04.3 LTS Other operating systems available within a couple of hours.

Offers available whilst stocks last. Price includes UK VAT.

Facility Information

  • Purpose built communications building designed by UK Government
  • Located within a secure 2 acre compound with 4m razor wire fence
  • Dedicated on-site HV substation
  • 1MVA of power available immediately (upgradable to 5MVA)
  • 1.3MVA of standby generation installed
  • Geographically separated fibre routes to site
  • Owned and exclusively operated by us... no reseller chain!

Upstream Network

Our tier-2 upstream network, AS61337, is well established and already has over 10k end users both content and eyeball. Our two edge POPs are located in London's premier carrier facilities, Telehouse North and Telehouse East.

We utilise transit from two premium tier-1 networks, NTT and RETN and peer at LINX (London Internet Exchange) and INEX (Dublin). We peer with the majority of the large UK eyeball networks to ensure maximum speed and reliability.

Our backbone runs from London Dockland to Milton Keynes, the closest city to Creslow Park and the largest settlement in the county where we operate a dark fibre network connecting the three carrier-neutral facilities in the area. Two of these facilities connected to Creslow Park via diverse fibre routes.

About Us

We are a UK registered company established for over 10 years and are the exclusive operators of the Creslow Park facility. All prices given above include UK VAT.

We accept payment via the following methods:

  • UK Bank Transfer (in GBP only)
  • Direct Debit via GoCardless
  • Debt/Credit card via Stripe

To place an order, email sales (at) ecomltd.co.uk.

HOSTS WANTED!

Do you run a hosting company? Are you looking for additional UK capacity? Would you like a unique selling point like no other? Let's face it; who wouldn't want to say that they are hosting in a former top secret government communications site?

No currently, but I am aware of a customer who is upgrading in January so his box will become available in 2-3 weeks.

    Thanked by 1remy

The HP's have two Xeon E5-2690 v3 which are 12 cores each, so 24 cores total.

    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/81713/intel-xeon-processor-e52690-v3-30m-cache-2-60-ghz/specifications.html

The Supermicros have two Xeon E5-2630 v3 which are 8 cores each, so 16 cores total.

    https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/83356/intel-xeon-processor-e5-2630-v3-20m-cache-2-40-ghz.html

  • Delivery was pretty quick, as it's been said would be nice to have some sort of panel for management, but it's OK at the moment!

Likely wasn't any load on the server ref. the [email protected] - can see the difference on my yabs above

  • Oh it’s idling to 1.2 of course…so yabs prints that at start rather than end of cycle
