  • I suggest you spend more effort in automating other protocols like WireGuard and Shadowsocks to emphasize your service name. Plenty of competitors already have an OpenVPN template.

    OK. I see a problem of trust here. I will do two things:

    1. I will decrease the minimum deposit to 2 EUR so everyone can check our services.

    2. I want to provide some free servers. Let me know if you want a free server, and I will provide it!

    I want free server. Thanks

    Please check your PM.

    Hi @dapavn thank you for giving me the opportunity to try your product.

    Several questions regarding your website.
    I just realized that your client area page goes directly to the virtualizor panel page.
    How customers do top-up their balance to extend their service? or even for create a Ticket ?

    For the LXC that I received, the Debian OS installation had problems, the SSH service couldn't run, and your noVNC function couldn't work even though it was activated. Also I get a critical alert:

    This is LXC 1GB 1Core benchmark result:

    Your LXC product is good enough for my needs, I did the test not for VPN, but for shared hosting and installing the FASTPANEL panel on your LXC machine. and works quite well for CPU and RAM performance:

    https://wordpress.lxc.dot.my.id/

    The WordPress benchmark testing process also consumes approximately 94% of CPU resources and 74% of CPU status in FASTPANEL:

    WordPress Benchmark Score in 3 measurements ~7.7 - 8.2 awesome:

    https://report.wpbenchmark.io/5uIVi9ikz3/

    Your LXC product also integrates well with my billing system, thank you:

    The last thing that really concerns me, €2 for LXC is quite expensive for me.

    Hopefully all of your businesses will run smoothly, be made easier, and will get bigger in the future.

    Thank you for the review!

    This panel has also billing included, and other features, but for cloud billing enabled users.
    I haven't enabled you that account because you are on free test.
    Users that sign-up themselves have other billing features, edit VPS, launch/destroy, etc.
    We are offering support on email and phone if someone calls us. We are thinking about installing a support ticketing system.

    I will check with my guys the Debian OS template.
    It seems that you panel and apps (including wordpress) are running really well.

    Again, thank you for the review.

    This is how the company I leased from decided to do. I haven't thought too much about it.

    @dapavn you NEED to respect the license of the open source software which you use.

    Additionally, you are using a 8 years old version of said software, which is insecure and should not be deployed under any circumstances. So I will assume that you are just very incompetent and suggest everyone to reconsider ordering from you.

    I'm not sure about what are you talking about. I respect the open source software I am using, because I am using very often and this is why I am using it exclusively.

    About the 8 years old software, can you give me more details? I'm not sure about what are you talking about.

    It is even more worrying if you do not understand what I am talking about, as my OpenVPN installer is at the core of your product. And you (or someone you hired) decided to use a version from EIGHT years ago which of course is very obsolete by now and it is surprising that it even works.

    I see that you are providing automatic installers for OpenVPN & WireGuard, and I appreciate it. We are a VPS service provider, we provide virtual servers ... the fact that we've seen that more than 90% of users buying cheap VPS from LET are using the servers to use them as VPNs lead us to provide some automatic scripts to help users automate this feature.

    I see that your software is public on GitHub, so I assume it can be used by other too, right? I propose to collaborate and make a better auto install bash script.
    We will use your script, and I will offer you credits with links on our website.. what do you say?

  • rarecloudrarecloud Member, Patron Provider

    Forgot to add, but when you're saying that we are using a 8 years old software, I am not sure that you checked our script.
    The comand from our script which install OpenVPN is:
    yum install openvpn iptables openssl wget ca-certificates -y
    So, we are installing the latest version provided :)

    Sorry, I am very tired, I just read your full statement.

    If I am using your script, I am glad that I finally met you. Me and my friends are using this script for years! We are using a newer versions sometimes, but this is the one we managed to automate using these recipes.
    Even if you help us to use a newer version of your script or not, I will put some credits on our website ... I would like to add a link also, but you are referring another hosting company there :)

    Good news, we recently made major updates regarding our products and prices.

    To start off we moved our price denomination from EUR to USD automatically lowering our prices.
    We've also changed the billing to WHMCS in order to solve the PayPal issues that you experienced, and also to provide a better user experience.

    We also introduced new plans for our servers. Let me tell you a bit about them.

    We now have 2 Starter plans, for both virtualisation types LXC and KVM. These packages were created to offer more than basic resources, but with lowest prices in the market.
    Like it's Black Friday all year round :)

    The next big thing we added is something that we personally missed in our daily work during the years, when we used servers from other providers. Now we have done it for you! It's every developers dream to have the exact resources they need,  not overpriced. Pay exactly what you use, without buying bundled resources. You need to pay for CPU if you need RAM, don't need to pay disk space if you need bandwidth, or anything else. Every resource is priced and added individually.

    That's why we've named these plans Do It Yourself (DIY).

    And this is not all, we will DOUBLE the Bandwidth you buy on our DIY plans!

    Here are our new plans. Check it out!

    1. STARTER LXC - $9/year
      1 vCPU
      1 GB RAM
      10 GB NVMe SSD
      2 TB Bandwidth
      1x IPV4
      /112 IPv6
      LXC Virtualization
      Order now

    2. DIY LXC SERVER - $1.5/month
      1 ->8 vCPUs
      1GB -> 16GB RAM
      10GB -> 240GB NVMe SSD
      2TB -> 10TB Bandwidth
      Up to 32 IPV4
      /112 IPv6
      LXC Virtualization
      Configure to order

    3. STARTER KVM - $2.5/month
      1 vCPUs
      1 GB RAM
      10 GB NVMe SSD
      3 TB Bandwidth
      1x IPV4
      /112 IPv6
      KVM Virtualization
      Order now

    4. DIY KVM SERVER - $3/month
    1 ->8 vCPUs
    1GB -> 32GB RAM
    20GB -> 480GB NVMe SSD
    4TB -> 20TB Bandwidth
    Up to 64 IPV4
    /112 IPv6
    KVM Virtualization
    Configure to order

    We created everything putting ourselves in our clients' shoes.
    We hope you enjoy our new plans.

    P.S.: If we've missed something, if you have some special requests, or maybe something is just unclear, we are here 24/7 for you. Just reach out!

    We are waiting for your feedback, ideas, looking to provide exactly what you need.

    @dapavn you NEED to respect the license of the open source software which you use.

    Additionally, you are using a 8 years old version of said software, which is insecure and should not be deployed under any circumstances. So I will assume that you are just very incompetent and suggest everyone to reconsider ordering from you.

    LMAO. This should be pinned.

    If you check the comments, I invited @Nyr to discuss and collaborate on this.
    Also I explained that it a bash script, which was modified, and it's not vulnerable.
    If he made the script which is at the core of ours, respect! But even if it was inspired by the script made by him, it was altered over the years, and we have modified it too.

    We already started working at our website to change all details about the latest changes:

    • changed billing system, because the other one wasn't so reliable and customisable.
    • changed prices from EUR to USD
    • new plans
    • the VPS will not come with OpenVPN auto installed, it will be an option when you order the VPS
    • we started creating new recipes to auto install OpenVPN and another one for Wireguard.

    Because we are working at the website, we will add more info and links to the script that auto installs the OpenVPN, and we will promote the new versions.

    I did read your reply, but was on vacation and did not want to waste time "discussing" with someone which was so clearly clueless about its own business. Also I do not have any interest in collaborating in any way, just pointed out two facts:

    • You need to respect the license
    • You are using very old and insecure software

    Anyway since you insist I will address some points:

    @dapavn said: I see that your software is public on GitHub, so I assume it can be used by other too, right? I propose to collaborate and make a better auto install bash script.

    It can be used by others, yes. It can also be modified and distributed by others. My project is provided with a VERY permissive license and still it is being infringed. I have no interest in collaborating to make a "better" script.

    @dapavn said: Forgot to add, but when you're saying that we are using a 8 years old software, I am not sure that you checked our script.

    I am sure that I checked the script, and you are using software versions which are over 8 years old. The fact that you can not even manage to identify them within a relatively simple script is very illustrative.

    My business is not based on that script. The business is based on the infrastructure, servers and the bandwidth contracts that allow us to sell VPSs with lots of bandwidth at a very small price. The clean IP addresses are a part of our business. The script that auto install a VPN service is just a bonus, to help those who want a quick setup of a VPN. That's it. We already started to work on other bash scripts, for OpenVPN and wireguard (the community asked for it).

    I have read the license several times before even thinking of using this script.
    Now, I've checked it again.

    I am very sure that I'm not breaching any licenses.

    As a token of respect, I will add your link and the license link into the website. It will be visible in a couple of hours.
