Looking for neat PHP script for web based file manager. So far reviewed and denied:
Any others?

Can't find working website. Aren't they gone closed source and than floped?
Good point. PHP and the simpler - the better.
Not PHP, but I upload Dm45.asp as file manager when I hack into a website.
Something like this?

What part didn't suit to your needs?
(I use it and like it very much due to it's simplicity)
As I recak this has security issues and not compatible with PHP8. And those pull requests ignored - red flag.
I can't say anyting about security issues but I use it with Hestiacp php8.2 setup.

This is nice! But a bit to overwhelming with user manager. I don't need it.
Following this, might come in handy. BTW, are you using a panel, or doing everything from scratch.
c99shell
Fork it and merge in the php 8 code? Become a maintainer on the side?
Nice thread, years ago I was looking for a file manager and Google never showed me some of these
I am not sure how accurate this info is. I run it with php8.2 and it works just fine.
I am curious as to what you didn't like about Filegator.
We use it for a few clients. It is written extremely well in PHP with composer/npm, and the front end is VueJS, which makes it lightning-fast. Multi-user/permissions is great.
We have used Tinyfilemanager, and its code is a little dated and has no multi-user/permission support.
What about miniserve?
That's cool hacky thing, but definitely not for non-tech savvy people
I used extplorer https://extplorer.net before switching to tinyfilemanager
I have narrowed down my reqs:
Seems Filegator is the only one who could support such reqs. I will get a spin on it.
