Avoid AlienVPS so called HostShark, Scam Alert
I bought a VPS there with CC, first, they increased the recurring service price 5x then made it annually and added cpanel and 5 new IPs and deducted all of them without permission from my CC, I called the Bank a while ago and I took my money back.
JUST AVOID ALIENVPS/HOST SHARK!
Comments
Also called AlienLayer,
God, they're noob scammers
Yesterday they closed and run away with the money and the files, couldn't reach them with all social media
just from the website alone it is very suspicious and strange
Someone explain me that table.
12 GB of "Online 24/7 Support"? That's a lot of tickets!
Not if you include Porn, 12GB for 1 month, kinda a joke.
MJJs will use up the 12 GB of support in a week
@AlienLayer @AlienVPS @HostShark
How do you plead?
he will not reply he take the money and run away already , and all those profiles weren't active for a long time , he may have other accounts possibly
Charge back the credit card and let go of the chicken
the issue is that he runs away with domains also not just the money and not sure how i can get back the domains
They probably resold a provider, contact them directly.
Fucking scammers.
It's really shit for the new guys and the small guys, but sticking with the big guys is worth it.
Namesilo and OVH aren't scams, right?
They are fine, big players who have been in the business for long.
OVH aren't scams, but occasionally they are on fire
Nah, it just means the servers are running at the optimal temperature.
LEB declined three offers from these folks that came in as a batch - one for HostShark, one for AlienLayer, and one for AlienVPS. AlienVPS presented itself as alienvps.com - apparently they bought that domain, because previously they were alienvps.net.

Yes, but we just declined three today was my point. And the community's comments on those posts are there for all to read.
Ah, ok, didn't catch that
These guys must've been around a while. I'm sure I've seen AlienVPS when I first got into VPS's, which was at least 10 years ago. I only remember because I thought the name was kinda cool. And I almost tried them back then. 😩
Occasionally, they emerge under a different brand.
They were also ZeusNode, OdinVPS and StellaVPS, just to name a few.
So LEB promoted the same scammer like 4 or 5 times now. Nice.

Have you had the opportunity to manually delete the CC data from the control panel?
no but I changed my CC number
The world is getting a dangerous place, so LET and LEB
So they kept your previous card number. Never pay with a valid credit card. Buy a temporary prepaid card.
Charging your bank card arbitrarily is illegal in many countries and equates to fraud and theft
I'm gathering some documents and providing them to the bank, I appreciate any help so I can stop them from emerging again/get my coworker's money back
You should limit the amount of charges on this card or block online payments.
I hope you didn't send them copies of your documents or there could be serious problems.
Fun fact.
There already existed AlienLayer.com / AlienVPS.com (yes, with both domains + UFOHost.net, AlienRack.com, WebRulon.com) VPS provider over a decade ago advertising at LEB and deadpooled around 2012 or 2013.
