Waiting lightweight application plans before I decide where to spend my credits.

These programs are actually online, but do not meet the LET's sales guidelines.
We have launched 4C4G specification VM plans in the London, UK and Tokyo, Japan regions where we can offer the best hardware, and we hope that they will meet your requirements.

I'd recommend the London area more, with RAID1 enterprise drives and support for backups, and a host with 10Gbps bandwidth and over 100G of anti-DDOS (anti-DDOS is not covered by plan's guarantee, and also not included in the asking price).

I have been struggling to get Debian 12 ISO installation working on San Jose ARM Cloud.
After reinstalling a dozen time, I finally figured out the procedure.

    1. Install the Debian 12 template.

    2. Mount Debian 12 ISO, start the installation as usual.

    3. At disk partition step, do not touch the EFI System Partition (ESP) at all.

Reformat the larger partition and select / mountpoint.
It must remain as ext4 filesystem.
Other filesystem such as xfs will not work, due to grub limitation.

    4. When the installation finishes, do not reboot yet.
Instead, execute a shell, and type these commands:

      mount --bind /sys/firmware/efi/efivars/ /target/sys/firmware/efi/efivars/
      chroot /target
      grub-install /dev/vda

    5. Power off and eject the ISO.

    6. Start the VM. It should boot now.

I seem to recall that we offer a debian12 image, is there a problem with that image?

I avoid using templates whenever feasible, so that I can be certain what goes into the system.

For "debian12temp", I noticed these files have been changed from their defaults:

    • sshd_config
    • nsswitch.conf

Moreover, I cannot start unprivileged LXC container.
This suggests some changes in kernel, systemd, or cgroupv2 setting.

    Dear push-ups specialist,

Due to the IPs previously used in the SJC region being placed on a null route and multiple attempts at troubleshooting failing to yield improvements, we have decided to change the IPs for all VMs in the SJC region.

All server data will be retained, and the hosts are currently operational. We are aware of the issue where the VNC panel is unavailable in some regions and will address this after the IP change.

All affected VMs will be compensated with twice the duration of the interruption in available service time as an apology.

    Sincerely,
    Isil Chang([email protected])
