New Providers on LET and BF/CM
Hello LET community!
There have been many new providers (some of then @sthosting @RickBakkr @BAHUPRO @ProHosting24 @repuc @awmbilisim @seflow and many others) for LET this year. And it was hard to find information and reviews on LET about these providers. Especially when the offers are every 20 minutes. The provider's profile has few topics and comments. Therefore, I would like to ask the providers:
Why don't you make topics to get acquainted with the LET community before Black Friday? There is no information about you or needed to look for it for a very long time on LET or in other places, but trying an unknown provider for EURO 40+ per year is somehow expensive?
It would be nice for providers to create topics for getting to know the LET community with promotional offers (for any period). To make it clear what kind of control panel, performance, network, type of virtualization, if there is backup, snapshots, what kind of support, form of payment, etc.... A huge number of variables... And also provide arguments why we (Lett community) should choose you over another provider.
For me, for example, I don’t really want to change a familiar provider, even if it is not of the highest quality, for an unknown one, even if it turns out to be of high quality. It would be good to read community reviews before doing this or test it yourself using promotional offer.
In general, it would be nice to have a review system and links to reviews from the community and performance tests like yabs for the provider’s products in the provider’s profiles. VPS, Dedi and so on... @FAT32

Comments
sthosting is not really "new". I remember many comments said that they responded to tickets very fast.
@RickBakkr is not new either
New providers.
Huh?
sthosting RickBakkr BAHUPRO is definitely not as new.
I think you shouldn't be allowed to post BF deals without being active the previous year. With the "two" new dumpster fire Turkish providers that got added this year, I feel like a decent amount of people are going to end up losing money. Could have been avoided if they posted offers at a normal time of year and people were able to call them on their bullshit.
As one of the lucky ones being mentioned … I wonder what is the point of this post.
Do you have to actively offer, and cater, to LET to have the rights to exist around here? I have been around here for a long time personally, I have been in the hosting business for longer. I am in the tenth year now of being a business owner in (Dutch) hosting industry. That most of our customers are not from Low-End-market, does not mean our products are any worse.
It feels a bit weird, trying to give something back to a community I have liked and been part of, for a long time by selling our spare resources dirt cheap, and being confronted by a post that basically states our offers were not appreciated?
If you do not want to know or try a new provider, don’t switch. It does not hurt. Most others make for a perfectly good home as well.
@hzhoanglee @tentor @JabJab @FAT32
For me, new means less than 3 years since the first topic with suggestions was published, not just a topic. I mean as a full-fledged provider. And in these 3 years the provider published several offers per year.
first topic - November 2021
first topic with offer - January 2022
In January it will be 2 years as a provider on LET. In general, it’s really not new, but the initial offers were with ipv6 which are not interesting to me. The previous ones were not so pleasant, which were on Black Friday, several times cheaper and several times more.
@RickBakkr
first topic - June 2017
Last topic - February 2021 almost 2 years not active as provider

Joined August 2022
first topic - none
I am actually even kinda happy some hosts aren't overly active on LET even if they have been now and then in the past. Their pricing doesn't match so much with LET's environment anymore anyways and i guess they simply have other stuff to do than hanging around in a forum day-in-day-out. Good offers are still good offers.
You may be a very good provider, but we don't know anything about you. You appear on Black Friday when there are a lot of offers from all kinds of providers (quality and not so quality, but very cheap) and it is difficult to choose you when we do not know you.
I didn't want to limit the ability to post offers in any way with my post, but as said in my post "to introduce the provider to the LET community". You may have been known 5-10 years ago. I have been on LET since 2017 and don't remember you. But when I started to look for information about you especially nothing found and time to sit to search for information about you is within 10 minutes did not find anything I do not see the point. That's why I ask you (Providers) to introduce yourself and leave information about yourself. I don't see anything wrong with it, it will remind about you as a provider, and LET users will get information about you and leave comments about positive and negative sides. You can post about yourself once a year because a lot can happen and change in a year.
I think that you need to accept the fact that LET is now above all, a revenue generating platform focused on the promotion of hosting companies.
But in reference to your concerns, I am well aware of a solid reputation and long standing business outside of LET of at least one of the listed providers at a casual glance.
So as in any transaction it is buyer beware and do your own homework, oh and BTW I have some NFTs I can see you at a good price.
I can only judge on this particular case. @RickBakkr is part of the LET community for a long time. I see his name regularly mentioned in requests - so that's telling me he's known and a respected member of the community. That's enough for me to be honest - says me more as blown up topics from a provider that's new around the block and throws a few beads (i.e. chance for a free VM or something) that the crowd fight for.
Then you make the decision not to buy from him because you don't have the level of trust you want to make a purchase. I've been around LET for a few years now, sell a VPS regularly, always on the hunt for a neat bargain. But to be honest, the ones from them that deadpooled were well known, regular posting, companies. So that doesn't say anything to me.
I'd say, let every company be on LET the way they want; it's up to you were you buy from.
Please do not assume that a single user speaks for the whole community, some of us actually do appreciate your offers. I recognize your name and I would not hesitate to buy from you as I see you as a respected member of this community, but that is my personal opinion. What other individual users think has to be their personal opinion, not the communitys opinion.
+1
Out of all the providers here, @RickBakkr runs one of the most professional companies, if not the most. Their offers are "Legendary". Keep those deals coming in the future as well, Rick
Here you go, one more reason why Flash Sale shouldnt be organised anymore, everyone complained about everything
I'd say the "new" providers don't have to post offers all year.
They should at least open a thread to introduce their company and engage with the community, 2~3 months before Black Friday.
This is also the opportunity for the community to ask questions and verify their legitimacy.
@RickBakkr is a nice guy, you really missed out on the $9.99/yr deal, a steal.
@FAT32 Don't let them gaslight you, he is probably just salty that he didn't get good deals.
