  • I always wonder, are the traffic limitations on yearly plans for each month or for the complete year?

Thank you for this excellent offer @v3ng !

Truth be told, I've been specifically waiting for you (and one other provider who shall go unnamed in your topic) this BF to provide good offer for some services I want to run, and based on peering from me to you (it makes me happy to not have elevated ping, packet loss etc...).

But, this time I want to be sure all will work out well, before committing for a full year, because, well... I found out that recently my best deals are monthly, not yearly, as improbably as it might sound.

I want to run secondary MX/DNS for one of my domains. Certainly a few more services than that, but all light... But, the first too are a must!

So, some questions where I couldn't find info (apologies if I missed it):

    • can I then count on no ports blocked (no port blocking is mentioned in the original post)? (obviously email requires port 25, dns udp port 53, to work at all...)
    • can I set up RDNS records by myself (probably not that important for secondary MX, but still...)
    • I don't see payment methods available... (I very, VERY much prefer PayPal)
    • ...nor refund policy? (never needed/used it, but... like to see it stated, just in case)
    • is there usual VPS VNC console / rescue functionality available on your platform (while this is rarely needed, when it is - it's a real lifesaver, and I kinda require it)

really wish it had some more storage even if it was attached as second disk /ssd or hdd. would've been perfect

  • Can't answer all, can answer some

@maverick said: can I set up RDNS records by myself (probably not that important for secondary MX, but still...)

I don't see any option for that in panel, probably ticket.

@maverick said: I don't see payment methods available... (I very, VERY much prefer PayPal)

Quoting from OGF: "Currently we support PayPal, Credit Card, iDEAL, SOFORT and Bancontact".

@maverick said: is there usual VPS VNC console / rescue functionality available on your platform

No VNC/console and ISO mounts only via ticket.

We block port 25 by default, but that can be unlocked on request.

rDNS is currently only possible via support, just pop in a ticket and we'll take care of it.
Will be self-service with the next version.
We do support PayPal, it should be available during checkout.

On those promo plans we do not offer refunds, unless there is a reason why the Node is not usable for you.

VNC is not integrated just yet, we can provide it on request if you're having issues with booting for instance.

I'm aiming for the first beta release of our new platform by the end of the year.
Hopefully, VNC is also already integrated by then.

But will be available with the public release at the latest

Edit: I'll create a separate thread in the coming days going into a bit more detail regarding the new platform.

I'm expecting the stock to run out within the next couple of hours, I definitely underestimated the demand!
It was supposed to last until Friday at least.

We have another server ready but I'm not sure yet if we're going to use it for the sale as well

Oh, we'll definitely look for a few beta testers.
I'll announce it on LET as soon as we're ready

It's already sold out! Will it be restocked? I haven't placed an order yet. :(

  • Why is it that providers with good deals never accept crypto payments?

  • @v3ng What’s the policy after the traffic is exhausted?

It depends, we're usually not too strict about it unless we suspect the traffic is used for file sharing, cdns or similar.
Especially if the usage in the prior months has been low we usually don't mind.

Worst case, it will be throttled to 10Mbit/s

If you need more traffic drop me a PM and we'll figure something out

  • have one of the bf offers from last year. can't complain so far.

I just registered to buy a 16G node, are they all sold out (everything seems to be) ?

  • Hello, do you allow cryptocurrency payments?
I note that they are sold out, I think that in this forum is fast that they are finished, I hope that for the 24 can have more servers.
I see good reviews from you, so it will be my first time.
