    We have managed to fix our issue, Unfortunately we cannot give IPV6 on automated basis yet, due to a limitation in our provisioning module, and asigning manual subnets/clients is not a way to go, it is not professional, so until we do not manage that problem, I will have to give a pass on IPV6.

    We got DDoS'ed earlier today when I'm at conference.
    Most likely, this provider is DDoSing websites that disagree with them.
    If you host with them, they could delete your website or sell your database when they feel like it.

  • yeesh, some crazy accusations flying around in this thread.

    I'll just say I've had a storage vps plan with host_c for a bit and service is good, uptime is good, and the one time I needed support they were prompt and helpful.

    Will be interesting if provide 1Gb VPS for lower price.

    At least VAT can be honestly removed within registration.

    @jenkki

    for ipv4 sub 3 usd/mo will be hard to do, even with BW limit.

    VAT is not applied if you are out of EU region. To correctly show VAT, pleae make an account and imput your address. If you are out of EU state system will not apply VAT.

    Website cannot know from where you are, so without registration, it will show VAT, as required by EU legislation.

    We might do something interesting ( VPS offers ) for LET customers shortly.

    In my opinion, less resources for VPS also reduces the overall price despite the cost of IPv4

    I have a positive comment about that. The Remove VAT option is working correctly with you. You are one of the few who do this for users outside of EU. Many providers simply ignore to customize this option in CP

    @jenkki

    Our first 2 months were off regarding VAT as instructed by our Accounting Company. As soon as we got the oficial statement that this is the corect way to apply VAT, we made the modifications and reimburst the VAT ammount to all clients at that point that were outside EU and got charged.

    Will try in future to make sub 3 USD/MO ipv4 products, but will have tu cut resources pretty heavy, probably 100 Mbps @ 3TB, and after that 20 Mbps, who knows.... :) I do not know if this would be usable to anyone?

    If that information is correct and can be proven, then maybe host_c is indeed a shitty person and should be banned from here as his behavior is not really worthy of a provider potentially hosting sensitive data.

    My website has existed for more than 17 years.
    During all this existence, nullroute was triggered on fewer than 5 days.
    At that exact moment, host_c decides to look at my website.
    What a coincidence!

    When an ordinary reader writes to me about my website, they would either refer to a URI (with domain name) or mention the article title.
    As shown in the screenshot, host_c message mentions an IPv4 address, instead of the domain name.
    Retrieving this IPv4 URI won't even get to my website, because I don't configure default certificates on the IP addresses.
    If they wanted to link to ping.pe, they would have linked to the ping.pe probe page or screenshot instead.

    @Andreix , are you sure you want to get down this road with @yoursunny at the wheel?

    I did not call you names until now, don't understand why you did.

    "If that information is correct and can be proven....."

    I do not like to be called names, like shit and so on without proof in a direct confrontation, until you have all the facts, I think it would be wise to see the outcome and some hard proof.

    Regarding @yoursunny , I had absolutely nothing against the man, until he started shit about me at a personal level ( him being offended that I and others took on one of he's protejee, and even so I did not call @FlorinMarian names ), and started spreading shit, nonsense about My Buisness.

    DDoSing websites, "could delete your website or sell your database when they feel like it".

    I can take 100 sunnys at a time, personally, I've seen the type before, he is not the first nor the last that thinks he is in god-mode on a forum, but drowning in my bushines and stating I would/could delete customers website or sell their database, that is shit at another level.

    @yoursunny Did you ever think that I have absolutely 0 inters in you and your website? I am not 12, nor 17, I have other things to worry about, you are definitely not one of them.

    EDIT:

    @yoursunny said: When someone writes me about my website, they would either refer to a URI (with domain name) or mention the article title.

    I am an IT Enginer, I work with IP's, VLANS, Routes and protocols, should have I written a melody for you last knight, to sing it to you, so you cold have better understood? :blush:

    Are you curious of my website content, or do you have zero interest in it?
