There's now a page (in German) with what to expect:
https://www.netcup-news.de/2023/11/17/fahrplan-fuer-den-black-friday-2023/
There are no big surprises, especially in light of netcup's comparable promotions on the final Tuesday of every ordinary month during the year
Looks quite disappointing so far
This is it, as far as BF is concerned, so I'm afraid that there's no "so far"
(netcup don't do CM promotions)
Some of the offers on netcup.de are 12 or 6 month pay upfront, it think. And on netcup.eu some are pay monthly with no contract but I don't think they have the BF offers.
Some offers are posted in the whatsapp group, but at most only 5x.
Afaik, netcup does advent calendar with way better deals for 24 days. So bf is not a big deal for them.
What payment methods do they accept ?
Looks like, the "VPS piko G11s 1M" was the best offer from them at this year (which is not included on their official "Black Friday list").
PayPal & Credit/Debit card,
If Black Friday discounts were not added to the discounts on the last Tuesday of each month, it would indeed be the same as having no discounts at all.
At least in the past, their Advent calendar deals largely repeat their BF deals, so one often has a second chance to get one of their BF deals during Advent
But in general, their Advent calendar deals aren't better than their BF deals. (I think that they also don't want to risk upsetting customers who have just bought a BF deal with a 12-month commitment)
Is it over?
