BlueVM - $10 Annual or $5.50 Semi-Annual Special Offer!

edited March 2012 in Offers

Looking around in our stock it came to my attention that we have 25 IPs sitting around literally doing nothing on a node that is underloaded (used primarily for storing backups). So we've decided to offer a one time limited offer to only LET/LEB... a $10 annual or $5.50 semi-annual VPS package:

64 MB of Guaranteed RAM
128 MB Burstable
1 CPU Core (@1.8 GHz + (on 2.5 GHz+ cores))
5 GB of Storage
150 GB of Bandwidth
1 IP Address

Secure Order URL: https://www.bluevm.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=52

Location: Continuum Datacenter in Nevada
Ping IP: 205.134.228.126

Quick note: These plans aren't customizable or upgradable to any of our other plans. (AKA once you have it, you can't change up to a larger plan and get a discount, you have to order the larger plan). These plans aren't upgradable because of their limited slots/sale time and the limited availability of the server we're placing them on. Once we're out we aren't going to restock. This sale is for LEB/LET only for the first 24 hours, after that we'll post it on a few other forums.

VPS is great for a real low end box, lighty is really quick on it. The only thing I would say though is that ssh lags a bit.

Yeah, it is the least responsive VPS I have regarding SSH, probably because is the furthest. Otherwise, I am happy and had good support.

  • Glad to hear you both like it. Kinda interesting that you feel that SSH is slow... is there a delay between issuing commands or does it just feel slow?

  • LAKidLAKid Member

I thought you're on vacation or something..

  • regsregs Member

I haven't experienced any sort of ssh lag

  • LAKidLAKid Member

Ya, there is no ssh lag.

  • @LAKid - I don't know why you'd think that. I never stop working :)

FYI there are just 3 left.

It does feel slow, but it might be the long distance, I am lately used with eu VPSes, yours is the only one off-shore, I was trying to get one from buyvm but i am out of luck.

That's probably it... we might open some EU nodes for the same price, but I really would rather avoid OVH. Everyone's got one.

  • @BlueVM

Just having a look at your KVM plans, can I ask why you offer 4gb of memory for KVM but not OpenVZ?

    KVM6 - KVM6 - Illinois
    4096 MB of RAM
    4 CPU's (@2.5 Ghz+ Each)
    1 IP Address
    80 GB of Storage
    6 TB of Bandwidth

@Taylor - Not much demand on openvz for plans above 2 GB dedicated. Obviously if you'd like an openvz plan with 4 GB you can request it... We rarely sell our BLUE5 plan, if there was demand we'd offer it. We figured we'd offer the 4 GB KVM and see how it goes.

  • @BlueVM Not interested personally just wondered, thanks for the response.

    Wow, you are a collector

  • @Asim - He's nothing... We have a guy with 46 VPS all of them on our base plan. Pays most of them on different days too. I offered to consolidate the billing on them for him, but he wasn't interested. Weird XD
