Purpose of purchasing VPS

I want to ask everyone, what do you use VPS for?
I am a college student and also a blogger [link]. The purpose of me buying a VPS is to set up a blog, without any other special requirements.

    burning money half the time tbh. Other half is games, networking that gets my ISP very angry at me, or something that requires ddos protection(My ISP also gets mad at me over this).

    To idle.

    If ever my idlers are down, I’ll come here to complain, and blame providers, regardless who’s at fault.

  • What is the purpose of this topic? Create another topic, ostensibly about the purpose of VPS, but actually insert a link to your website

    if the moderators do not stop it, we will see dozens of such topics every day

  • So you came here to promote your blog which you have been writing for 5 years and which most of us don't understand? What a way to waste those years. Lmao.

    I understand, I will definitely think twice before taking action in the future. However, I still hope that my two posts can be deleted because they are meaningless and have wasted a lot of people's time. I am so sorry.

    1. Buy VPS on BF event, while thinking to make billion dollar project;
    2. Draft rough sketch of the project idea;
    3. Instal desired web stack for development on vps;
    4. Download few libs, create index file;
    5. Take a massive morning shit;
    6. Get back to pc, lainch steam app;
    7. While gaming loose all motivation to do anything with your idea, procrastinate to the max;
    8. Idle.

    That's it. 17 servers on idle atm. And next BF event on the horizon...

    You don't need a new VPS. What you need is a detox !

    Same here but registered in april.

  • Normally I don't make that much money, so I buy idlers so that if they go down I can claim I've lost millions in those 10 minutes and, because it's LET, people will believe me and offer their condolences.
