OysterVPN Lifetime Deal on Stacksocial
There's a new lifetime VPN deal on Stacksocial for "OysterVPN". Seems to have just OVPN/IKEV2 for now.

Haven't heard about it before, but the website and server list looks (visually) like another Ivacy/FastestVPN/PureVPN clone again. Maybe someone wants to compare IPs?

Blue Oyster bar included?
If they don't include it, can they really call them OysterVPN?
It's probably the incorporation section.
This good deal how „lifetime“ or consider the next one?
IP all oneprovider
take "lifetime" with a grain of salt. whenever i install wireguard and have fun, my account is always canceled
The few locations I randomly picked are all different than FastestVPN, and not in the same subnets either. Additionally, spur.us is reporting all of them that I checked as OysterVPN IP addresses.
I am not a huge fan of companies which used a free logo generator. :P
Does anyone know who they are reselling?

Company was founded 12th April 2022:

"company shares its Eircode with at least 48 other companies" so I'm guessing it was incorporated using some sort of online incorporation mill.
Their Trustpilot page is filled with mostly (obvious) fake reviews:
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/oystervpn.com
On their blog they have a photo of a woman named "Julia Samuel" which Google Reverse Image says is a picture of someone named Céline who is a marketing employee at a company in France. However an AI detector detects a high chance that it's simply an AI generated photo:
Doing a search on random terms from their privacy policy and affiliate programme show they aren't copied from any other website, Google returns only hits for oystervpn.com
Very curious. They definitely don't make it easy to find anyones names (except "Julia") working for or involved in the service.
This is their address in Dublin (Unit 80, Cherry Orchard Industrial Estate, Dublin, Dublin 10, D10 Nx96, Ireland), doesn't look much like a VPN office:
Thanks for checking!
Auto VPN repair center.
It's not how women can look perfect in real life as models.
All the reviews are tweaked on purpose and pick the most beautiful photos from the internet. Fat and pimply don't need it.
FastestVPN is reselling from someone but I don't know who (not PureVPN), Ivacy is reselling PureVPN, there was another VPN that had the same servers as FastestVPN (only 1 digit IP different, but I forgot which VPN exactly, it's been a while).
Ivacy isn't just reselling PureVPN, it's another brand owned by Gaditek from Pakistan, who also owns PureVPN.
FastestVPN is owned by Fast Technology Ltd. from Pakistan.
According to a post on Reddit, the guy who owns FastestVPN is a pretty shady character:
Yeah I read up on that, basically the same thing, for OpenVPN one can also just use the files on the PureVPN site, since the login also works on those.
Yeah FastestVPN claimed they were audited a few years ago, not sure if I posted that here or anywhere, but after I asked more details about it, they removed that part, it was only visible in the client area.
So, who wins low end detective badge by exposing upstream provider of this *vpn?
I wasn't willing to spend money on figuring it out - it's possible to order their company records for a small fee from https://core.cro.ie/e-commerce/company/4876335 or to buy the service and see if there is more to be found from the inside.
