How to take your own off-site backups as a Reseller hosting (DirectAdmin) user?
Hi,
I have a Reseller hosting (DirectAdmin) and I want to take my own off-site (remote) backups to S3 or FTP. How can I do that?
The provider already offers off-site backups using JetBackup, but I cannot add my own destination to it. I understand that this is normal, as it would increase the server load, but I am not sure about the reliability of the provider's backup server. It might fail or have downtime at some point, and they are recommending to take your own.
Is there any way to solve this problem? I tried the DirectAdmin remote backup to FTP, but it only does Full Backup and not Incremental.
Thank you.

it would be really limited as you on reseller hosting, the full backup is the only option you have.
I think the DirectAdmin API wont help in this case
You can use the default DirectAdmin backup, under Reseller Tools -> Manage User Backups and Schedule your backups.
It is not for free, but maybe this plugin could help you:

But I’m not sure that it will help you, considering the post you don’t have root.
