OVH has pretty good pricing and they have services in both Canada and Australia.

Chances of finding a lower end provider offering both locations is pretty slim.

OVH is great if you have nefarious activities in mind, otherwise most people don't have many good things to share.

A few to consider for Canada: Virtono(Montreal)/Servarica(Montreal)/Wishosting(Montreal)/GreenCloud(Toronto)/SmartHost(Toronto or Montreal)/GTHosting(Toronto or Montreal) for a start. Vancouver is much harder to come by on the lower end.

For Canada, you can try lunanode too. I had a free vps from them a long back and never had any issues.
