Anyone using WhatsApp Business API?
If you are using WhatsApp Business API then I have a question. I know you can send messages using API but how do you receive messages. We can use web hooks for that but what if I don't want to use it. Is there any interface provided by Facebook where I can view incoming messages?
As far as I know, the number you are using in API to send messages, cannot be used in WhatsApp on Android/iPhone so either you need to implement web hooks, or use some kind of interface provided by Facebook.

receiving messages is handled using "WhatsApp Business API Client"
Looks like it require WhatsApp On-Premises API. But in my case I am using Cloud API hosted by Facebook.
yeah you're out of luck, if the business api isn't a must maybe try to take a look for 3rd party services like waboxapp
WhatsApp API is for developers that build solutions for themselves or for others. If its for themselves you can use WhatsApp Direct API access from Meta, if its for your customers then you have to go through a BSP (Business Service Provider like Twilio). You need to have a UI for viewing and replying to messages. They only provide APi and webbooks for notifying the events. That said there are many solutions build on the top of APi that you can use to send and receive messages (Wati, respond etc. to name some)
The biggest benefits of WhatsApp api is the ability to send and schedule promotions with their approved templates.
I also saw WhatsApp Business web interface in Facebook pages. I wonder if it uses the same number that you use to send messages using Cloud API. You know if you have a page and you go to "Inbox" then you will see WhatsApp tab along with Messenger and Instagram. Basically Facebook has unified all messages on one page but I am not sure if this WhatsApp is the same as Cloud API one as you need to connect it to a number.
