Kinsta new free static hosting

looks like kinsta just launched free static hosting but from reading the description it just looks like its Cloudflare Pages with a different username/password

We only have some fair use policy limits that you may want to keep in mind.

  • 100 sites overall
  • 600 build minutes and 100 GB bandwidth per month per account
  • 1 GB build size and 1 concurrent build per site

It might come in handy for people managing lots of static sites tho

  • thanks for letting us know. will give it a try!

  • Hmm, the introduction page implies they're using R2 instead of CF Pages. CF Pages have a 25 Mb per asset limit, with no (hard) bandwidth limit, so there's probably some scenario where one of them is more appropriate than the other.

oh I meant it's basically the same infrastructure with its subtle differences, but thought some people might find it useful. it's good to know this is out there I guess haha

  • only you can connect Kinsta to your namespace to import your existing repositories from github, gitlab, bitbucket. Unlike cloudflare pages, you can upload direct static files/folder to the Kinsta yet.
