UK Colocation Providers
I ordered from BurstNET.eu a couple of hours ago but then noticed http://alphadex.co.uk
I just got off the phone to alphadex and the support seems to be open 24 Hours a Day(Phone), I have a feeling it will be expensive but waiting for them to give me a quote tomorrow.
24/7 Unescorted or escorted access is preferred but not a requirement, The BurstNET Datacenter is 29 Minutes away so easily accessible.
I do not want any long contract terms or setup fees, 1U to start with and will use 1/4 Cab within 8 Months(If everything goes to plan).
Providers I have checked: IceColo, Melbourne, TheUKCloud.
Any Ideas guys...?

Could try M247 (IceColo)
If your willing to drive a few hours, you could try http://www.custodiandc.com/. They give you as many free IPs as you wish!!
Or you could try RapidSwitch (Maidenhead), its one of the largest DC's in the UK.
@Daniel
Driving to Kent(3 / 4 Hours) to drop off servers is not a cost effective alternative. :P
Like I mentioned on Skype, these two are excellent:
I forgot to mention http://www.racksrv.com/ who have space in IceColo and don't charge the setup fee. Jon is very helpful too. Just be aware of 2 things if you're going to use Racksrv though:
- They aren't actually in Manchester themselves
- I had a nasty experience moving away from Racksrv where they spoke to IceColo in an attempt to discourage them serving me directly.
@jtodd Edit: Racksrv is too expensive, It seems like BurstNET is my only option at the momment.
@liam I live in lancashire, near manchester. north west.
Their website seems to indicate they're still there (?)
Also that's not my opinion and the general consensus. I visited IceColo and met the director when we were choosing a spot to colocate in. The facility was much better than Telecity's Synergy House and the staff were very nice too.
It's a very modern facility with onsite staff 24x7, they're a LIR, the bandwidth is reasonably priced at £5/mbit, and they actually have a build room for your to use with plenty of tools etc so you're not always on the DC floor.
I remember when I /by accident/ hacked M247.
Burst isn't a bad option, just bear in mind the support is slower so ideally you should have a KVM.
I have a remote reboot port at the momment, Didn't tick the KVM Option as it was About £25 but I will see what I can arrange with them.
What an informative review

I was a bit of a dick. Not malicious.
I think the saddest part of that post is at the end, James trying to justify not hashing passwords...
I found the exploit when trying to use their API normally, I made a typo in one of the headers and it went through and it confused me.
Anyway, James is actually a really nice person. We talk quite a bit on Twitter. But I don't think he realizes hes following the guy that mistakenly hacked M247.
But Cogent is always poor bandwidth.
It aint no Level 3 but that's reflected in the price, which is clearly the priority for the OP.
BurstNET EU seems to route through HighWinds for me, then to BT (also my ISP).
Strangely between BT and BurstNET, its only one hop on HighWinds.
We have one in Liverpool that is well connected. Its based In Edge Lane.
