Disk performance is better than many NVMe offers. We use state of the art SAN with a lot of RAM cache and layered arrays of storage which sort the data by access frequency and store it adequately.

No, this is just a regular VPS service but, in theory, if the server fails (CPU/RAM/chipset etc.) then we can simply prepare another machine and hook it up to the SAN to resume from where it was (more or less).
It is not automated but there is a much lower chance of losing the data.
That being said, the service does not offer a back-up solution, the user has to make own back-ups.
