Ufortunately, still there are customers specifically demanding cPanel.
Why is that unfortunate? If a customer demands, that means he's willing to pay. If he's willing to pay, you get you % on top even if cPanel were to charge $10/website
Infact I would be dancing with joy, on 0.4 @10% I earn 0.04$/website and at 10 I would be earning 1$/website. It's just math
cpanel is increasing it price base on yearly basic, why still so many host still go with it. Since cpanel latest theme doesn't seem user-friendly at all.
Anyone who keeps up knew it was coming. They made it clear long ago there would be a yearly increase. So it's the only expectation you should have. Again, like WHMCS, everyone has a quick moan and continues using it.

Whats the current cost?
Yes, they think that all hosters are making lots of money. Eventually cPanel hosting will become premium hosting only for niche market.
Can anybody really expect otherwise now? The writing has been on the wall since at least 2019, more than enough time to move to an alternative panel.
With all these increases each year our monthly cPanel bill is decreasing
We'll get it to 0 at some point.
