Virtualizor - Ubuntu 22 or AlmaLinux 9?

For a new installation of Virtualizor for KVM VMs, should I use Ubuntu 22 or AlmaLinux 9? Which one do you think is better, and why

With Redhat's recent decision, I would say going the Ubuntu route makes more sense

    Why not Debian?

  • Yo Chinaman prefers Debian 12

In the documentation, Debian is not listed. I believe that if something goes wrong, and you need support from the Virtualizor team, you might receive a response like, 'You installed it on an OS that Virtualizor does not support"

    Then go with Ubuntu..
But you can ask virtualizor team if they support debian as well or not

  • First you have to decide which hypervisor you wanna use. Different virtualization supports different OS.
