Looking for a dedicated server

Hello,
Here the situation:
at the moment i have a dedicated with Hetzner. They have a good server as hardware (and good price) but unfortunately there's a bandwidth problem especially on upload.

They provide as well a 10 gbps as an upgrade (that do i have right now) but is limited and shared. Is not private and is very very bad indeed me and my friend we're so upset for this situation.
Most of times we upload max at 1-2 gbps on different host like: Icerbox, Filestore (1.5 mb/s by ftp, is not a joke), Katfile ecc ecc ecc but average speed is 1 gbps if we're lucky.

For this reason i'm looking around for other alternative but is not easy, at all. Many service provide shi**y server with bad hardware and very very expensive. No sense.

At right now we have:

  • 5950 Ryzen
  • 128 gb DDR4
  • 3.5 NVME x 2 (7 tb total)
  • 10 gbps
  • Windows server 2019
  • 20 tb traffic (is good for us, no need more)

And we pay 180 eur monthly. Without 10 gbps the price is around 130-140 eur.

So, final question:
is there any service who can provide this kind of hardware or similar with a 10 gbps private?

I know, is very challenged what i'm asking but i'm a bit "desperate", "sick" and my patience is over.

    I think your budget is quite low for asking 10Gbps dedicated port speed

    You would need to add to it like 500€ just for dedicated port

    Hold on. Some service like eqservers provide a dedicated 10 gbps with a good price but there's a problem with the hardware, is not good enough for my needs.

    Hi there,

    I've just checked internally and have a rough idea on specs/costs if you're interested:

    • Ryzen 3900/3950 (may have a 5xxx left as well, happy to put this instead but will cost a bit more)
    • 128 GB RAM
    • 2 x 1 TB NVme (can upgrade for an additional cost)
    • 1 Gbit Port / 20TB or more is fine (I've refrained from a 10Gbit as I'm unsure on your exact requirement for it, as you only need 60 Mbit a month. But we can clarify this if needed)
      -Windows Server 2019 is fine - assuming you can provision a license? Otherwise we can sort that no prob)

    Location: UK

    The price really depends on commitment - and I can drop it quite a bit if you can commit for 12 months.

    Assuming 3xxx for now - roughly €125-130/month for a 12 month contract
    If 5xxx, roughly €155-160/month for a 12 month contract.

    These are of course rough and we can get to an exact number once we know a bit more about the usage. DM me if interested, if there's more stock then I may be able to move things around for you.

    Try to test on a VPS first, if the speed is better before get another dedi. Who knows, if other hosts are the culprit or your dedi?

    He seems to be a "poweruploader" and spreads files to different filehosts to share the links. So it's not a specific network.

    So, as I got it, you need only 20 TB of traffic. 10gbps unshared port would simply be a waste of resources. Based on your request 2-3 GBPS unshared port should be enough for you.
