Looking for a dedicated or bare metal "Singapore" server

At least:

  • 4-core CPU
  • 12GB RAM
  • 128GB SSD/NVMe
  • 100 MBPs Up/Down
    - 1TB bandwidth per month is fine

Willing to pay up to $40 USD per month.
My last option would be to use a reputable VPS.

  • You can purchase greencloud VDS https://greencloudvps.com/billing/store/epyc-nvme-kvm-vds/epycvdssg-4 . It's difficult to find a dedicated server within this price range in singapore region.

    Interesting requirement.

I don't think you will find this pretty much anywhere in Singapore. It's not worth anyone's time to do that budget of dedicated in Singapore.

I'd recommend considering VPS, you will also get it more affordable. Time for shameless plug: (https://speedypage.com/vps)

  • LeaseWeb maybe

  • OVH had sales on their Rise servers awhile ago under $40/mo. Dedicated, 500 mbps with a 10 TB limit. Keep an eye on them for future sales, possibly on Black Friday.

  • VDS will be worth the price

  • Leaseweb (but slightly over your budget)

    Budget is too low.

If you consider increasing it, then check @RansomIT. We're with them and couldn't be happier. It's premium stuff.

  • I bought a Kimsufi in SG (KS-GAME-APAC-1-1) the last time they had a promo, $32.99/mo for 100Mbit 5TB, i7-6700K, 32GB RAM, 2x256GB SSD + 4TB HDD.

I'm locked into it for an entire year and my use-case already ended, so if OVH allows transfers (I haven't asked but the last couple of threads I've read about it the answers weren't clear) it's yours if you want it, just take it off my hands.

The indeed do ownership transfers, however the accounts need to be handled by the same subsidiary (CA, EU or APAC).

If the person you're transferring to is a friend, you can simply make them an Admin contact, which is something you could do without intervention from support.

    6 Cores
    12 GB RAM
    180 GB SSD
    12 TB Bandwidth
    1 Gbps Uplink
    $29.99
https://shockhosting.net/vps (similar to your requirement but it's not dedicated and I'm not sure if it's available)

if you willing to spent more $10 you can get dedicated there
    https://shockhosting.net/dedicated

I can't vouch for them though, but their $5 vps is pretty good
