HAZI.ro | Network upgrade, tomorrow September 8, 2023 @ 08:00 UTC+3 | Services may be affected

As usual, I leave here the email that has already gone to all clients, to make sure that those who use temporary emails (which obviously do not check periodically) can receive this information.
Hi!
Tomorrow, September 8, 2023, starting at 08:00 UTC+3, the technical team of one of the ISPs will be present at our location to upgrade from 500Mbps dedicated to 1Gbps dedicated.
Thus, after the completion of the works, our network will look like this:
- 1150Mbps guaranteed IPv4
- 2000Mbps best-effort IPv6, of which 1150Mbps guaranteed
We have already requested inquiries to see what the costs would be for 10Gbps best-effort so that we can soon also offer VPS/Dedicated servers with guaranteed 1Gbps, most likely having a monthly traffic limit to avoid abuses.
During tomorrow's upgrade, it is possible that the connection with the major ISP will be interrupted, leaving only 150Mbps of the second ISP, which is used strictly as a backup in situations like the one tomorrow.
Thank you for your understanding and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused!
Comments
Our prediction is that the secondary 150Mbps will be lost, for one reason or another, for at least one minute during this upgrade.
Wonder, when dual 40Gbps connection will be ready...
When will it make sense for our infrastructure.
This also leads to a Gbps best effort, we accidentally tested this when a client was sending DDoS attacks from our network and it was going up to 1100Mbps.
Who can give 1151?
what about making an status page? we can also see your real uptime there
This option is not yet feasible.
Just today I explained this to a client, but I repeat the explanation, no problem.
So we have 6 nodes that we can run in parallel or only 2 at the current load level.
Since we still haven't found the best balance between energy consumption and VPS performance, it often happens that VMs are migrated in real time (0 downtime) but the nodes are restarted, closed for a few days and so on far away.
When we stick to a fixed version, I assure you that that status page will not be missing.
