FYI: Scaleway rebooting Stardust instances today

One of mine went down, so I logged in and saw this notice:

Stardust Instances will reboot for maintenance on September 7th, in PAR1 and AMS1, between 10AM to 4PM CEST. (Expect a downtime of 5 to 15min)

And as a bonus, mine got a fresh new IPv6 address too. Nice.

Did you lose your old IPv6 address?
If yes, it's bad, because provider shouldn't force customer to perform renumbering.

Everytime you reboot on scaleway, your IPv6 changes.

    It's just like:
Every time you reboot on NanoKVM Idaho, your IPv6 changes.

Sir, that is based on the mac address, you can set it static, if you really like dynamic mac addresses.

Depending on what Node you end up, you get a IPv6 assigned from that Node.
    Cloud things, wired stuff.

    Yes. And yes.

And their cloud-init stiff throws Python errors, so I had to reconfigure my network using their wonky web console. Sigh.
