  • I'd rather not contact each potential provider so if no one minds too terribly much, below is what I'd replace if anyone wants to PM me a match or similar offer that isn't already publicly available (I probably know about you if you've posted offers in the forum lately). Some notes:

    • Location is not very important.
    • Traffic / link rate not very important.
    • At least one IP4 one IP6 address (/64 or better preferred).
    • Paypal required.

One each of the following to replace:

    • Atlanta, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 10 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $15/year
    • Atlanta, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 20 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $2.28/month
    • Dallas, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 20 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $2.28/month
    • Denver, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 20 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $2.28/month
    • Jacksonville, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 20 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $2.28/month
    • Las Vegas, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 20 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $2.28/month
    • Los Angeles, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 20 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $2.28/month
    • New York, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 20 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $2.28/month

Also seven $12/year, 512MB RAM OpenVZ systems to replace, but I'd rather not buy any new OpenVZ systems. If anyone wants to offer a suitable KVM replacement for those I'd consider it.

Did you lose any IPv4 first octet in this fiasco?

Can someone offer something similar to this?
15-20$/year: 1GB RAM 1CORE 10GB space, it can be HDD

Also can TOR Relays be installed on the machine?

We allow tor nodes on our network as well.
Our AUP and near the bottom is what we recommend to help against abuse on the tor network. https://dataideas.com/acceptable-use-policy.html

  • I've following configurations with dedipath for my clients as of today. Most of the vps i had backups and I'll be transferring them to buyvm, racknerd and ramnode in Atlanta. But I still need these for my clients (location is important):

    • Denver, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 20 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $2.28/month
    • Jacksonville, 1 CPU, 1GB RAM, 20 GB disk, 1 IP4, /64 IP6, KVM, $2.28/month

I also have few vps with dedipath with following configuration.
2 cpu core, 3 gb ram, 35+35 gb ssd, one ipv4, for $14.50/mo (their special offer with double disk that i signed up). These vps are in LA location. So I'll be moving them to racknerd, buyvm in vegas, but i still need other providers that can match a minimum 35gb ssd with same 2cpu core, 3gb ram, KVM.

  • really heartwarming to see so many providers offering h€£p.

Only have one I could personally vouch for in Denver - but it's OpenVZ unfortunately.

For Jacksonville, does it need to be IN Jacksonville specifically or would Florida as a whole be cool?

Heh, not yet. Everything is still up as of this writing. Of all the /8s that are get-able from hosting providers I think we got them. We might lose one until I find a replacement, but no big deal.

I will ask my client about Florida. I don't mind hosting in Florida.

  • @hosthatch hope they got something for refugees.

We were only with dedipath in LA luckily our other providers are actually good lol. We use DataWagon for 2 racks in NY, Quadranet (path upstream) for 2 racks in Miami, and CosmicGuard for 2 racks in Dallas.

Anyway yeah we have a few options on the table right now but it's looking like we may just move off to rented dedis for a month as we don't want to rush our decision on a new dc/provider, and don't even know when we'll get our hardware.

But if any other LA customers are still interested in colo eventually once they get their hardware (which I'd be glad to help pickup some hardware for people as I'll likely fly down there this month) then please let me know as I can get a full rack instead of a half rack and fit some old dedipath LA customers in.

we also did reach out to evocative and the suggested enzu.com who is in the same Redondo beach DC. Owner of Enzu gave me a decent offer just not sure about the ddos protection, from what it seems, I think he hinted that he could maybe get our hardware released earlier

Deceptive advertising. You omitted the price that is paid in terms of heartAche, suffering, despair and charge per answered tickets that aren’t merged or closed

Yes, we own our entire facility including the buildings. Its carrier neutral and we have many providers on-site including dark fiber routes that we operate our DWDM gear on.

Happy to help out anyone who is affected, with free 3 months service to cover for the initial moving period, and no requirement of continuing service. Also most likely can price match.

But not really looking to use this oppurtunity to advertise and/or create threads because that just seems in bad taste considering the situation.
