So sad that there is only one ip address now. Does anyone have yabs from new nodes?
Edit: Also now it is 5 Gbs DDoS protection (was 20 Gbs before), also now it is ipv6 /128 not /64 like few months ago.
Is this ovz or kvm
I'd grab one if it's KVM based. Any looking glass?
These are OpenVZ. Currently, no Looking Glass is available.
What do you want to use that you need KVM? You can also put a VPN or use Docker on that OpenVZ server.
Nice. A "NYC Metro" data center that's not Piscataway, Choopa or the usual suspects in Secaucus.
Equinix JFK1 - 5851 West Side Ave., North Bergen, NJ 07047
JFK1 is located within a large financial, media, and enterprise district. This data center offers low latency and high throughput network access to North America and Europe.
@EthernetServers There's no such thing as E5-2540 v4. Probably a typo, meant E5-2640 v4?
Absolutely a typo
That should have read 2650 v4: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/91767/intel-xeon-processor-e52650-v4-30m-cache-2-20-ghz/specifications.html
Good catch.
Looks like you also get a (fair share) 10Gbps connection as well though, unless I'm looking at the wrong previous offer. As for the IPv6, it says that more is available for free.
That's correct.
Ultimately, this is a free upgrade to 10 Gbps (from 1 Gbps), with more modern hardware (2x Intel Xeon E5-2620 v2 to 2x Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4), etc. I get the feeling most people would favour that over an extra IP - and if an extra IP is absolutely needed, we charge a reasonable price of $1/mo/IP.
Also, multiple European VPS locations are on the way within days
Lots of big plans in the works that I can't wait to share with the community!
Great!

@EthernetServers please add the extra month.
All done, thank you for your order!
When will the european offers be ready?
Hmm...I grabbed one to try but I'm only able to get ~30 MiB/s down from my home internet for some reason. On my RamNode instance, I can push 90+ MiB/s almost instantly on my home connection.
That said, DC-to-DC stuff is fast, 4-5 Gbps easily. Not sure if something wrong...
Could you open a support ticket? Or if you did so already, can I have the ticket number?
Thanks,
