Track record, white label offering, and dedicated IP for me. Handling of support tickets for customers (white label again) is a great plus. Cpanel preferred but sometimes DA is ok.
Me personally I don't use resellers for anything critical (redundant backups or failovers are ok) since the market is saturated with too many unreliable players.
