Live with the team of Aeza! 20.08.2023 в 8:00PM GMT+3

Today, at 8:00, we are holding an important broadcast that concerns every client.

❎ From the first of September, Roskomnadzor will start full regulation of the hosting market in Russia, prohibiting Russian companies from selling servers of foreign locations, forming a unified register of authorized hosting companies, closing small organizations and introducing the obligation to pre-connect servers to the communication channels of Russian special services without obtaining a court decision.

🫳 We strive to be closer to our clients and have prepared in advance a number of solutions that will preserve the ability to maintain the diversity of services, a wide list of locations, their quality and protection of client data and will be happy to discuss them together on the stream.

✅ We will be happy to answer any burning questions, share our experience and nuances of our solutions so that you can be sure that you have made the right choice of powerful servers in any of our locations.

See you at 8:00PM on our YouTube channel:

    Your own copy-paste contains:

Is it really being a political hater not wanting to give all your data to Russia?

This is the opposite of the actual definition of Rule of Law.

I advice everyone that can to move any data outside of any russian entity, ASAP.

  • @emgh said: Is it really being a political hater not wanting to give all your data to Russia?

People seem to be more concerned with how to defends their data from the DMCA and similar organizations. Why doesn't anyone ask Roskomnadzor free server?

Yeah, because Russia needs direct access to your stuff without a court order for copyright reasons..

Imagine having to stoop so low to defend hating democracy.

  • @emgh said: Yeah, because Russia needs direct access to your stuff without a court order for copyright reasons..

It's only for those with illegal targets such selling drugs,сhild porn, etc. Normal users have absolutely nothing to worry about. Even without a court, it's very difficult to do anything. You just don't know that level of bureaucracy.

  • @emgh said: I advice everyone that can to move any data outside of any russian entity, ASAP.

In fact, Russian hosting companies have never blocked or asked you to upload your passport to them for verification as western companies do all the time. Some will not even activate an account without checking your passport and selfie pic. And whose data is more secure?

In perfect world it would be good approach, but we arent living in one.
There should be presumption of innocence, not presumption of being guilty.
With such overlord power there is definitely presumption of being guilty.

I do understand your point, this is a common belief.

But it's a fallacy, the proof? You can justify any amount of brief of privacy with it.

  • @borowsky said: In perfect world it would be good approach, but we arent living in one.

In any country, you will be quickly found and punished for any illegal activity. You think no one controls anyone there? For any serious criticism of the government and state bodies they will find you and put you in jail everywhere. Trump has almost been given 532 years in prison already. Free country. As long as you don't criticize the authorities

In Russia one must share their profit from illegal activities to become untouchable. Basic mafia etiquete.

Why are you so extremely non-intellectual?

Why do you think Russia saved Snowden?

Because of their huge commitment to free-speech and democracy or to piss of America?

You've been resoning at a pathethic level throughout the thread but I don't actually think you are stupid, so why?

Apparently you're very intellectual. I'm telling it like it is, but all I get in response is a stupid, idiotic hater. Who just hates a certain country and doesn't pay attention to real facts.

You just got whatever they want push into your head.

Last sentence is from page 33 in Russian propaganda book called "Ruskij mir". You are avid reader. But hey, this topic is not about this. So just go into megathread where you will find your "sabutilniki".

I really don't give a shit about all your political propaganda. There's another branch here. I wrote about hosting problems, not politics here.

Just as I expected all the haters to come out. And they did.

Like many other resources, LET is infeсted with hyperactive personalities. Such people can put likes/dislikes because of doubts about COVID-19 vaccination, because of trends like #METOO or @BLM, make public people or companies withdraw from the market because of unconfirmed data or mistakes in marketing, etc.

Now due to the massive information, economic war against Russia, the main trend is to ignore everything related to Russia, Russians, USSR, etc. in a limited number of countries like the US, EU or their allies.

Since I am old enough, I call such people Hongweibin. Not because they are ruled by Mao or his idea, but because they are very aggressive, unapologetic and usually poorly educated and uncultured.
It is not worth paying attention to them.

  • About two months ago I was not able to renew my VM (Netherlands location) with them, because their 'international payment method 1' always rejected my card. Tried to contact with their support 2-3 times, but sadly never got working solution.

I have a small VPS long time ago from Veesp (Vstoike) also in RU location (I love it) and with HostVDS too. I'm curious how They will handle this. (Because not received any information from them). Probably the companies not in Russia but the server's hosted in RU.

You described, or more like reflected, typical russian persona.

There is no sane people on earth who agree that war is good and agressor with his mindless zombies should be supported. None.

And discussion about that is over immediately as all other rationalisation is void.
