Review on Hostslick - CRAP SUPPORT

Would not recommend anyone to use Hostslick.

CRAP SUPPORT AND SLOW TICKET RESPONSE.

Just make some Q&A for SEO.

Is Hostslick Shared Hosing good?

Too Bad to be true. Just avoid them.

Do Hostslick have a good support?

Definitely NOT. DREADFUL Support.

So this post just expresses my immense disappointment with Hostslick. And I have no expectation or intention to request a refund since I won't give it a F**k.

Now here's the story.
On July 11th, I orderd their Reseller hosting plan via

I purchased it to find the username and password sent to my email is incorrect or more accurately my plan hadn't been delivered (why? since it is not possible to access the default domain or primary domain after editting my local hosts). So at that moment, I knew things were not looking good.

Then, I had to contact their support. And I opened a ticket, and it took almost 1 week to get my ticket replied and my request partially solved.

Actually, during that peroid, I tried to contact them on lowendtalk, and I got a reply.

And now it has been more than a month, my request for a dedicated IP haven't been replied. :)

Yesterday, I just opened another ticket for same request, and still no reply.

And i do know I'm not the only one who experienced the crap support of this kind.

What I have learned from Hostslick?

Well, SILENCE is key, perhaps the golden key, to profit as much as possible from customers.

Money has got nothing to do with that.

I pay budget friendly prices at below providers, and they respond to support messages within 15 minutes.
    GreenCloudVPS, RackNerd

these respond within an hour most time,
    @SmartHost , @LittleCreek, HostBrr, @naranjatech, @LiteServer

  • chargeback!!!!!!!!!!!

The biggest mistake was I paid using Alipay. So I treated this a good lesson, just an old chinese saying goes, "A Fall in the Pit, a Gain in Your Wit".

never use alipay outside of china!!!!

  • I've used VPS at Hostslick for 1 year. In the early days of using it, there were some problems with the VPS, but the support provided was quite good and was answered quickly. after a long time there have never been any problems at all, so I don't know how the current support is.

But now I don't use their VPS anymore because I found another provider.

  • Looks like HostHatch has a competitor!

    HostSlick is the new NexusBytes.
Health comes before family work orders.

  • There was update 2 days ago:

    Dear clients,

due to big expansions and network traffic growth we had yesterday on Monday 14th our Maintenance from 6-8 AM.

The Maintenance was done with success! No other issues or whatsover after!

Here is timelog table of yesterday, Montay 14th.

Monday 06:32 AM - Maintenance started. Downtime was until Monday 07:03 AM.
Monday 08:52: Everything completed. IPv4 is working, IPv6 some issues still.
Monday 10:16: also IPv6 working now again.

In next days/weeks we inject additional upstreams into the mix. However this will not cause any downtime or maintenance.
Now there is enough capacity and possibilities to expand the network in the future.

Additionally to that we recently announced temporary support delay. We are also Happy that this delays/backlog is as by now almost cleaned.
We are working to improve support for the future as well and should be back at 100% here too soon.

Thank you for your patience and staying with us.

    Kind Regards,
    HostSlick e. K.

    Well.

I asked for a refund of a service he could not deliver.
    He agreed upon the refund.

However, even 7 days in no refund.
So I asked, he said it takes roughly 2 weeks.

    So I checked his ToS.
I pointed out, that his ToS said up to 7 days.

    He Terminated my account.
I still got the refund though.

A bit unsure if I would order there again though.
    I kinda agree with OP.

  • Don't get a cheap reseller VPS.
Also don't get discounted liposuctions from some backalley doctor.

  • IIRC I ever order their shared hosting + domain then I changed my mind because the support reply was really slow (takes 1 week to reply my ticket)

I deleted my plan with them and unsubscribed the email so they do not spam my email

This is the worst experience for me on shared hosting so far, sorry to say
