    Recurring? "No"! 😔

    Can you post yabs?

  • I was about to jump on this, but as @khalequzzaman mentioned it's not recurring.

@leapswitch is it on purpose or a mistake?

    I highly doubt it's a mistake

It is not recurring. We offer upto 35% discount for longer billing terms and 50% first invoice is applicable even if you purchase for 3 years.

We have been here for 17 years, we won't be running away in the next 3 years and by that time new technology and new plans will come up 😃

    @leapswitch

Do you follow local laws for logging and reporting based on server’s physical location?

This is in regards to servers in Bombay, Pune, and NCT Delhi

  • @leapswitch said: It is not recurring.

So your goal is simply to induce buying for as long as possible? It doesn't work like that. And not everyone is sure that you will exist for another three years. Or raise your prices.

We do user KYC and capture netflow data (metadata of data transferred through our network) and store it for 6 months as required by the government.

3 years (30%) + 50% off is our maximum discount. We encourage you to opt for it but you are free to choose.

We have never raised prices for our services in the last 17 years in business. Only increases have been on Control Panel and Software licensing which is out of our control.

We have been in business for 17 years, that is proof enough that we'll be around for atleast 3 more. If you are in doubt, feel free to opt for a shorter term.

Our standard prices are still 70% below comparable plans from DO, Vultr, Linode etc in India.

In three years, a lot of water will flow away. Life is changing every day.

Romania also promised independence in three years.

    Thanks for the response, @leapswitch

The local laws vary a lot between countries.

You were probably a customer or had an account with Stromonic, which they acquired earlier this year.

Currently this datacenter is out of stock. We can provide our older standard range of VMs only. Any specific requirements for this DC ?

As mentioned above, Stromonic was acquired by Leapswitch.> @tsoft said:

Both by default, but can change it to only out.

Sure, we have 3 locations in India though and going by your name, you should definitely have better performance within India than outside.

Neither with Stromonic nor with Leapswitch.

    I already did that.

However, the reason why I commented here, was to figured out in the first place how my email got on that mailing list from Leapswitch in the first place.

It definitely was not cherry picked, I assume that someone from your Company export them all from Stromonic onto the Leapswitch Newsletter without any consent.

Privacy laws, too, vary by country.

  • It appears that Leapswitch may have acquired Stromonic; however, they are not acknowledging the funds that were deposited with Stromonic. Consequently, I am unable to avail their services.

  • Any one have yabs?

We will review this internally to ensure it doesn't happen again.

We acquired Stromonic and are providing an essentially free service till the end of your paid term when the previous owner walked away. We do not have access to the old PayPal/Stripe or the WHMCS. We received only the services information.

If there were any additional funds in your account with Stromonic, you will need to reach out to the old owner or to the payment gateway to receive those funds.
