Looking for an Ashburn Dedicated Server w/ Unmetered Bandwidth
Hello, I have come to my last resort of posting on here, don't take it as an insult though.
Requirements:
* Location must be Ashburn, VA (USA)
* Under 1 MS ping to economy.roblox.com (Most low latency Ashburn servers can achieve this)
* Unmetered Bandwidth
* Minimum of 1Gbps Port
* 6+ Core CPU
* 2+ GB RAM
Note: I have burnt through 20 providers in the last 3 months due to not performing and along the way I learned these are the specifications needed.

Hetzner cloud acheives less than 1ms to rblx economy.
Though hetz doesn't offer unmetered bandwidth.
8c/16g at 30 euros with 20gbit uplink but not a dedi
hmm... under 1 ms ping would be hard.
The best I can think of is buying a OVH server because not many hosting providers have unmetered bandwidth in Ashburn.
I actually just bought a custom vps from Toxihost.com
They are super new but server seems fast.
Outside of that I would look at Tier.net @TierNet
Misaka.io server seems to be the lowest ping, you can try it in ping.sx (https://ping.sx/ping?t=128.116.114.4).
Maybe you could try @speedypage . It's suitable for Game Hosting / Server, as it's using high frequency CPU Ryzen 9 7950X on US (Ashburn) location.

Interesting picks guys! I appreciate all the help so quickly, if you guys have any more I should take a look at before deciding keep on coming
maybe rackdog or quickpacket @qps
We at Bloom Host have dedicated servers < 0.5 ms to economy.roblox.com
However our bandwidth is not unmetered - do you have an idea of what your actual bandwidth usage is? We might be able to work something out. Feel free to reach out in DM or a ticket.

We would be happy to help but our Ashburn location currently is only for public sector.
Any company with their own half decent network should be able to help you out there with good speeds some good suggestions on here already. Check out Quickpacket.
Our latency from NY is 7.8ms which clearly wouldn't work for your usage.
Our current usage is a constant 1000 MB/s inbound and around 52 MB/s outbound 24/7. So we're going to be using terabytes of bandwidth. We're looking for long-term providers.
QuickPacket peers with Roblox in Ashburn, so you're not getting lower latency than we have. DM me if you'd like to discuss.
Yeah we have sent you an email regarding your servers, but we have yet to get a response. If you can please check the ticket #919646. Thank you! We're checking in with the availability of unmetered bandwidth.
Depending on your budget, I would look at Psychz too.
They currently have a 10Gbit Unmetered Dedicated Server available right now.
These specs aren't the greatest... but 10gbit.
E5-1650 v3 - 6 cores 12 threads
32GB Ram
250GB SSD
10Gbit Unmetered
20Gbps DDoS Protection
Ashburn, VA
$259

Ping Test:
This may actually be the best bet here. Specs seem OK and no one is going to get cheaper than this.
order link, I'd recommend paying an extra $5 and getting a second drive for RAID 1 since Psychz has very very slow remote hands in case of drive failure.
Yeah I have been keeping hard eyes on Psychz for a few days but QuickPacket's ping I've checked with their looking glass just two days ago really caught me on.
Their overall network is better but you're just hitting one destination, so global performance really doesn't matter here imo. Psychz is probably good enough for what you're doing. Also that 10g is REALLY unmetered, have used them before to dump data from one place to the other and was able to use the full 6PB of transfer with no issues or speed drops.
That's quite impressive. I'll keep this in mind.
You really sure with this? 1000 MB/s meant you will be using exactly 8Gbps port speed. If it's just 100 MB/s then it's around 0.8 Gbps.
Yeah I've monitored usage, this is the ballpark of what we're at.
6PB in a month??? wtf
You written;
To be safe it should be 10Gbps, or at least 8Gbps real unmetered requirement, and surely a dedicated server, because it will consume at least 2.5 PB per month.
Wow 6 PB?
If it's 10Gbps unmetered, then it should be at most 3.3 PB per month right?
Weird, I've been using a test server from GTHost for 1 day on 2Gbps and it was running just fine on 1000mb/s
Then it's not 1000 MB/s, it's 1000 Mb/s. It's big difference. 2Gbps port speed meant 2000 Mbps or 250MB/s
Full duplex
I do a lot of work related to large datasets + big archives in general. Sometimes I need something to proxy my content through (backups from EU to US as an example) and I'll "reflect" it off of a server in the East Coast to send the backups to the West coast.
Oh whoops, yeah that was a typo. My bad I mean Mb/s. I completely forgot to acknowledge the capitalization.
You surely know how to burst
