    Never pay in advance with new hosters especially if the the spec/price ratio looks too good.

    I ordered an Evoq – 512 GB NVMe plan for seedbox stuff and pay monthly. I delete 99% percent of the media after watching them. Things I want to hold long term will be copied encrypted into the cloud with rclone + on a local HDD.

    I am gonna use this VPS as long as I can. If he exits scams I am up and running with another "too good to be true offer" within half an hour thanks to Docker.

    It's all about risk mitigation. He can have my ~6€ (one month of service) for the drama, entertainment and popcorn potential included 🙂

    It's a little more intricate, but it's not exactly straightforward reselling. Seedhost doesn't directly own all their hardware, and Ultra only owns a portion. To give you some background, a few years back, Ultra used to lease hardware from NForce and Novoserve.
