batucloud scam

I found Batucload's article on Lowendtalk.
I went to their website and bought a server for $12 a month and paid for 6 months in advance for 33% off to $48 for 6 months.
They self-destructed and said I have to pay them 72$ for 6 months without an apology
I write this article so everyone should avoid

Why didn't you honor the offer when you took the money in the first place?

Because I didn't know about it. We saw that the order configuration was wrong when the order was created and edited it.

  • Case resolved.

So you had a 33% discount on semi-annual orders of the VPS by mistake ($48) and then canceled the order, refunded OP, and asked OP to buy at the normal price ($72)?

If so, you should be banned from adverting on LET.

  • Well, now you have your money back.

Go buy from someone else that’s under $48??? Profit???

Big red flag here... Provider should honor "their" mistakes.

Lol. No ways. Shit happens. It's human. If every provider started to honor mistakes, there will be no low end market.

    Be reasonable.

Yes, if the provider is AWS or the likes, they have tonnes of cash to burn. They may be able to honor the mistakes, not here. Not everyone has the liberty.

Ofcourse, the provider needs to enforce due diligence to ensure there are multiple checks and balances in place to make sure this does not happen again

Repeat offence would be a separate discussion

I think the admin should change the title of the thread, it's clearly not a scam the provider refunded the customer.
