12 EUR over your budget, and there’s definitely good servers within your budget, so there’s no need to get this

BUT, if you’re somewhat flexible or can share it with someone or something, the GAME-1 is reslly performant for its’ price

    https://www.ovhcloud.com/en/bare-metal/game/game-1/

But again, there’s really good servers for less so it’s not really needed, but it’s a stellar option

Edit: Plus you get the OVH Game DDoS Protection

I’d look at the Hetzner server auction as well

16gb ram and 1x 500g nvme but ryzen 3700x with decent ddos protection: https://deinserverhost.de/dedicated-servers @ChristianDSH

    14€ more with 64gb ram, 2x 500 ssd, i5 9600k, ddos = nullroute

    https://www.ikoula.com/fr/serveur-dedie @Ikoula

5€ more 32gb, 500 ssd ryzen 3600, great network but no ddos prot

    https://www.webtropia.com/dedicated-ryzen-serververgleich.html

Only one I know 100% has IPMI:
    10€ more 4790k 32gb 500 ssd, good ddos prot (?), good network

I got this deal last black friday for 25/month, its been great since then

    https://pebblehost.com/dedicated/ @dann00

also this, never tested but it seems solid, 1tb nvme, 64gb ram, weird ryzen cpu for 40

    Crazy value

There’s also the AX41, both NVMe and non-NVMe are within your budget:

    https://www.hetzner.com/de/dedicated-rootserver/matrix-ax

DDoS protection isn’t remotely as good
And the CPU is weaker (but still decent)

But the network overall is good
And you get 64 GB of RAM (with GAME-1 that costs extra)

Oh, and finally, IF setup fees isn’t an issue:

    https://www.hetzner.com/de/dedicated-rootserver/matrix-ex

The EX44 is 4 eur over your budget but indeed crazy value too

Compared go GAME-1 it’s overall better specs wise (but again, no real DDoS protection)

@DrMak can you somehow redo verification?

If so, try it all, make sure your address is exact (containing apt. number if there is one etc).

Try to do it from another IP this time, if you used home wifi, use phone, etc.

Take the clearest picture you ever could of the passport. Good lightning etc.

Just try to make it all perfect.

Sometimes I guess it’s still not possible, that sucks.

Edit: That’s why they’re so cheap, at their scale, handeling large amounts of abuse is a recipie for disaster.

Any idea on "Public bandwidth : 250 Mbps (burst 1 Gbps)" on Game-1 ovh. If u or anyone have yabs or user review for the same please share and why the cap on a game server Ryzen 5 5600X to just 250mbps, i doubt that 1gbps bust ever get active.

In the same price range Rise-1 with Intel Xeon-E 2136 have 500Mbps unmetered.

    another is Advance-1 with Intel Xeon-E 2386G, 1Gbps around 65$

Any suggestion or idea on them, as just waiting from hetzner verification reply otherwise will go with one of them

It's still a burst of 1 Gbps. It's not everywhere on the speed test that it's 250 Mbps.
This is an example of network speed (IPv4) yabs from GAME-2

    iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4):
    ---------------------------------
Provider | Location (Link) | Send Speed | Recv Speed | Ping

    Clouvider | London, UK (10G) | 894 Mbits/sec | 337 Mbits/sec | 12.7 ms
    Scaleway | Paris, FR (10G) | busy | 373 Mbits/sec | 9.78 ms
    NovoServe | North Holland, NL (40G) | 905 Mbits/sec | busy | 9.32 ms
    Uztelecom | Tashkent, UZ (10G) | 804 Mbits/sec | 169 Mbits/sec | 89.7 ms
    Clouvider | NYC, NY, US (10G) | 685 Mbits/sec | 50.7 Mbits/sec | 89.1 ms

@DrMak it’s meant for hosting games, the CPU would fry before hittilg 1 Gbps anyway (when using it to host a game)

    haha.. ok

So finally I got the hetzner approval after last rejection, this time they are quick to approve my account :o

@emgh @mrc4t @rjbl what is better in performance as they are almost in the same range but EX-44 have setup fee. Most probably i will install xcp-ng or proxmox as i want to eliminate at least 5-6 vps/vds to this as well as one of my small emby server which only used for single educational stream rarely.

    AX-41 (Ryzen5-3600) 37€
    vs
    EX-44 (IntelCore i5-13500) 44 € + 39 € Setup Fee

If you don't care about the setup fee, clearly the Intel

No as i will at least use it for a year so that may be consolidated :|

@emgh said: May I ask what you changed for Hetzner to approve you? Might help some people out

Yea thanks for yr primarily tip and try again suggestion, haha they approve without any doc verification :D

Thats the biggest issue as i see many people talking about. I read some posts and complain abt it on reddit and other forums. So here's the tip it many work for u if u got rejected..
    1. NO - vpn
    2. Clear yr browsing data and try to use chrome, If you are using mobile internet just reboot yr mobile so the dynamic IP get refreshed.
    3. Email: If you have yr business mail (eg. [email protected]) use it. or use fresh mail address.
    4. as @emgh told before use exact address on yr passport if you asked for submit a verification document then they will check the same, slight variation means REJECTED specially if you are from HIGH risk country.
    5. The above (4th) point can be eliminated if you: don't use Paypal, Bank Transfer or any type of Prepaid CC/Debit card. If you have a Visa/MasterCard credit card on yr name:
    - follow point 1,2&3 , goto hetzner DONT select CloudVps or Auction Servers rather select any Servers u like
-proceed to buy create account and on payment page select Card then enter desired details proceed to payment, As you new user so they just verify yr credit card with little to no amount.
-Yup, the card processor/bank pass yr name on cc account to Hetzner that's all and thats they match.
-Now wait, within a day you will get verified without any document upload.
-Now you can add Paypal or bank wire transfer and switch from CC :p

Tip: And if u r worried about the server you order in point 5, Hetzner will not generate invoice immediately and also they have 14 day cancelation policy, Rest you know!.

yeah that is one reason, but I can not find any review or usecase of i5-13500 on kvm or xen just dont want to keep changing the server so trying to make sure it works as it have:

    1. Total Cores: 14 Cores, 20 Threads
Performance Cores: 6 Cores, 12 Threads, 2.5 GHz Base, 4.8 GHz Turbo
Efficient Cores: 8 Cores, 8 Threads, 1.8 GHz Base, 3.5 GHz Turbo

How does that P/E core work on virtualization ????

    1. Does that Intel UHD Graphics 770 works on hetzner and can passthrough.
