Hello dear LET Community,

We are thrilled to introduce our VMware VPS offer to you. CloudForest.ro is a newly launched private hosting provider based in Romania. We take pride in owning all of our edge infrastructure, including servers, location, networking, cooling, and power redundancy. This means we are not located in crowded data centers, providing us with complete freedom over our environment.

We do not offer pre-defined plans for you to choose from. Instead, we offer the flexibility to fully customize your VPS by selecting the desired number of cores, RAM, and SSD storage in RAID5. Here are our standard pricing details:

  • €2.5 / core - Intel® Xeon® Silver 4309Y CPU @ 2.80GHz
  • €2.5 / GB of DDR4 RDIMM 3200MT/s, Dual Rank RAM
  • €0.1 / GB of Samsung SAS SSD storage in RAID5 (Read: 2100MB/s, Write: 1800MB/s)

You can mount a wide variety of the latest Linux/FreeBSD ISO distributions and manage your VPS through our out-of-band terminal in your dashboard. Reinstall or change your OS at any moment and enjoy the flexibility, power and resource allocation of VMware ESXi.

Our VPS offer includes unmetered bandwidth and provides you with clean, never-used-before IP addresses.

To get a 50% discount for the first month, use the coupon code LET50 during the checkout process.

Nothing enterprise-level apart from IDS/IPS filtering rules powered by Suricata (updated weekly). So far there was no DDoS attempt big enough to affect us as we also sell game servers and network stability and ping is a must.

We obey the european laws of copyright, but we keep in touch with our clients to see if those reports are legitimate or bogus. No, we won't suspend your account on bogus reports.

We do not (yet) offer BGP.

Oh boy, this feels more like High End offer, and to top things discount is applicable only for first month.

Well, no harm in building premium range though, just saying. ;)

Love the precious feedback. Indeed, the higher than average pricing is based off the fact that the equipments are new and we don't oversell. Also, some licensing costs from VMware.

I would kindly recomend anyone to try it as i've received some great feedback on the virtualization solution, apart from the general VPS performance.

    Cheers!
