1U colocation EU (preferred Germany)

XedonXedon Member

Hi,

I am looking for a colocation offer for my HP Gen9 server.
I currently consume ~250 watts on average (30 day average measured via iLO).
I would like to have 10g (SFP+) to catch traffic peaks, but I actually never consume more than 5-7TB/month (including backups). If a PBS is available for internal backups, the traffic volume is reduced even more.
I also need a /27 subnet v4 and a /48 v6 + DDoS Protection.
For iLO I need an RJ45 cable.
Otherwise power and network redundancy would be desirable, but at least power.

What price should I expect in 2023? Would also agree to a 24 month contract including prepayment.

Thanks in advance,
Xedon

Do you have a specific price range in mind?

I really can't estimate the prices in 2023 anymore. Some of the prices have exploded so much...

We could offer that in Frankfurt, Germany.
Power is priced at 37,5ct per kWh which is among the lowest in Frankfurt.

We also run several PBS instances which you could use as well.
BGP sessions and BYOIP are available for free

    1 HE
    15TB Traffic
    1x 10Gbit/s SFP+ uplink
    1x RJ45 with VPN access
    /27 IPv4 + /48 IPv6
    A + B feed

    112€ per month
If you commit for two years we could bring the price below 100€

In case you want to reduce your power usage, we can also offer affordable EPYC systems for either renting or buying. :)

    1U
    50TB Traffic (standard package)
    1x 10Gbit/s SFP+ uplink on Arista Switch.
    1x RJ45 with VPN access
    /27 IPv4 + /48 IPv6
    A + B feed

    Located in The Netherlands.

    75€ per month ex VAT
    24 months contract, 3months pre-payment

    DDoS protection included (combhaton).
remote hands are 30€/15min but you are having ilo4, very very powerful. Usually remote hand then not needed unlike you need to replace parts.

we use HP Hardware as well.

show us a better deal and we might beat it.

if I see that correctly, that would be the Skylink Datacenter in the Netherlands?

UK is difficult. Since I would have to pay customs etc. if I understand correctly.

We have own equipment, routers etc there.
Full row of Racks is us in the new hall.

Understandable - not too sure how it works from a customs point of view if you’re only ‘temporarily’ relocating hardware.

We’ve also got a presence over on the West Coast, US, for 59.99GBP, but that’s likely out of your location requirement

Your server would be located in our rack with MK Netzdienste FRA2
    https://www.mk.de/isp-carrier/isp-carrier-rechenzentrum

It features a much higher efficiency compared to most other facilities here. Therefore, we can likely offer better long-term pricing, considering the energy situation in Europe

  • d2411d2411 Member

The FRA2 from MK Netzdienste is good. I love them.
I was there several years with one server and had no outage.

    Thanked by 1v3ng

    Thank you for the offers!
I have to think about. I've also heard that electricity prices will drop again in the next few months. Possibly currently is also really not a good time.
