I think even $45 seems high for this server specs. Year 2013 cpu and SSD, DDR3 ram. Network and DDOS though is a plus.

Agreed, the hardware is ewaste tier. However, you have to consider the quality of INAP's bandwidth + the fact that no one really gets close to this pricing in San Jose. Seattle is a bit of a harder sell, but still overall an alright deal.

@Ernie how often do servers go down? currently my LAX server doesn't work for almost 3 hours, client panel shows notification that there is outtage, but https://status.dedicontrol.com/ shows that everything is operational.

It’s not often at all. We had a switch die today that has since been replaced. My apologies for any inconvenience.

Purchased a dedicated server back on May 25. Had everything installed and configured. Woke up today to find out they provisioned the server (even though it already was), which caused everything to be wiped. All I got from them was "we won't do it again". Now I have to reinstall everything. Just another unreliable hosting provider. Buyer beware!
