Can you offer old hardware dedicated for 30-35$ ?

Hivelocity is not a low-end provider. They tailor their customers like no other. Just look at this thread alone, there are maybe 3-4 different people replying to get all the questions answered in a reasonable time.

Probably not. $58 is the lowest we have ever gone and frankly it’s already too low for what we bring.

  • When are you going to offer VPS?

It is called cloud on their website. Hivelocity is premium provider, I have no clue why they escalate their presence here, among bottom feeders and cheapskates, but if you do choose them - you making a good choice.

Heficed is their Public Cloud offering I think.

@Hivelocity feel free to confirm or deny

No, it's not. It's called "Private Cloud" on their website and that's nothing like a VPS, that's a cloud on dedicated environment. Having your own Private Cloud is more expensive compared to having several dedicted servers - and this dude was asking for a VPS.

Currently you can purchase virtual servers via the Heficed.com site which is a company we acquired back in late 2022. In the near future we will be integrating virtual servers into myVelocity enabling you to deploy both bare metal and VMs within a single pane of glass. You will be able to spin up virtual firewalls and load balancers as well. Additionally, all the network automation we have developed will work between both our metal and virtual server products. As with our bare metal, we will be offering our virtual servers in many markets across 6 continents. This is all coming within months but for now if you want a virtual server you must acquire that via Heficed. I hope this clears things up.

Private Cloud is a single tenant cloud environment that utilizes no less than 3 dedicated servers.

I know it. I just thought if they are here, they might offer something really cheap, like RS does. I have no problems buying premium stuff, however, I am here for low end hw :)

Just curious, why is the $109/mo plan more expensive than the $104/mo plan with bigger SSD? Are those backwards?

Edit: website doesn't work for me, just Server Editor Loading...

Checking on the cart now. Throwing a 404 for me as well. As far as the pricing goes, the smaller drive is more expensive because of the location premium and the smaller drive solution not being available in our cheapest location, Tampa.

If your 240GB drive is more expensive than your 480GB drive, you're doing it wrong.

If there is a difference in write duration or speed, you really need to highlight that.
