Difference between Openlitespeed and Litespeed

Hi, how big is the difference between openlitespeed and litespeed? So why do hosting providers use litespeed enterprice instead of openlitespeed?

I think he's getting at the fact Litespeed has a more advanced API than openlitespeed, therefore it is easier for hosting companies to implement Litespeed. Most pre-made solutions already have integration for Litespeed aswell.

Openlitespeed don't have htaccess discovery (so you need to configure all htaccess rules inside OLS=Openlitespeed panel or have that all in just one htaccess file in main web folder, in paid litespeed you can have multiple htaccess files in different directories). Also important thing, OLS don't support all htaccess rules supported by Litespeed.

As @hostaris said, in litespeed you have more integrations and that integrations are better made.
