This is not normal, isn't it?
What would be your guess in regard to CPU in use, disk (type) in use and provider for this vps yabs results:

OVH KS-1 (Atom N2800)
It's actually a vps that claims "Take advantage of the flexibility of the cloud with the performance of dedicated resources..." (and also priced at about 5 to 6 times a OVH-KS-1)
Some more (from a monster bench test):
That ram write speed is hilarious...
Come on... please feed the drama by telling us the provider & plan name
Oneprovider OneCloud "High Performance Instance" (sic) on an AMD Epyc 7402 (with 4 vCPU) and 250 GB SSD NVME (sic)....
Vultr 2vCPU regular performance VPS (with SSD):
vs Onecloud high Performance Instance with 4 vCPU and NVMe:
So OneCloud is amazing in never failing to underperform any expectations...
Yes, opening topics titled "This is not normal, isn't it?" is not normal. Next time try: "Question" or just solo question mark "?" - so it will be even more clear what this thread is about.
Those results don't look good, I barely have x 20 times more performance on a similar "Onecloud high performance" instance. Did you contact oneprovider to check what's up?
@Warcom
Yes, I did. It took them several days to work on this but when they did, the numbers got better (though not as good as 20x). CPU is now at double performance and disk at 3x to 10x.
So kudos to L. from Oneprovider support.
(I actually would not have thought that they would work on this, but they did.)
Come here with complaints when bench goes bellow 50 for single cpu and 69 for multicore.
Usually you have to pay good money for that kind of performance.
Of course I'm under the impression that the more you pay for cloud servers, the worse they perform. There's this strange thing where if you pay too little or too much for a cloud server, you get too little out of it. Somewhere in the middle tends to be a sweet spot.
While I'm fairly certain the only way to beat Skynet is with double negatives and sarcasm, it's still annoying when double negatives are used.
Sorry for my grammatical stupidity. I will try to triple all negativity next time.
