What's better domainname.online (or .site) or domainnameonline.com (or domainnamesite.com)?
By checking more, other domains are cheaper too. But i wouldn't be surprised, if the spamming grows.

Thats normal strategic behaviour. You pay for 1st year almost nothing. The 2nd year you pay real money.
Some domains you can get for 3-5 years for the same amount you pay for 2 years.
