2 031 Geekbench 6 for 3.79 eur is prem, and I say that even though I'm not the biggest Hetzner fan

Yeah, I happened to spot them this morning, but don't have time to try one out!

    Multi core: 2031 pkt

I presume this is the CAX11 then. Seems pretty decent for the price.

Also quite surprised, as I didn't realise dynamic virtualisation was properly supported on Arm yet - I thought they had to be dedicated cores, so interesting that's it's shared CPU on these.

Benchmarks should be made after a two weeks then we can look how's this scale after fill node with clients instances, but it's pretty nice offer and much cheaper when you need get more ram , when yours applications it's fully compatible with aarch64 it's right pick.

  • Tagging @Hetzner_OL - who knows, maybe they can offer some special offer on this for LET.

Interesting that the multi-core hasn't scaled as well on the CAX31.

    Usecase: CloudPanel supports ARM :)

  • ralfralf Member

Yeah, definitely interesting that the multi-core perf seems to be 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x but the cores are doubled each time. That and the traffic limit being the same across all packages make it seem like CAX11 is the best overall value unless you actually need all the extra cores.

As far as i know, Hetzner is one of few cloud providers who is consistent in terms of performance. I have bencmarked many of their VPS (Cloud) and it's consistently good. But i don't know about this ARM, maybe next month i give it a go, and posted on my website (hit signature).

  • It's best hostting provider!

  • Great!
    Good for PHP & MYSQL?

In general arm is good for stuff that uses mostly integer code, x64 is generally better if things are floating point heavy.

Would this be better for my WordPress websites that run using Runcloud with OLS on the CX21 plan?

    1. You sure RunCloud even runs on ARM?
    2. Do you have high enough traffic that it could even remotely make a difference?
    3. If you do, wouldn’t it be easier and basically free in contrast to the site’s income to just keep upgrading the VPS in the range you’re in, or, hop to the CPX range that should be just as supported and more performant?

We're sorry, but the contents of the bin could not be found, or it has been deleted.
For all 4 - holy shit that was fast - it's the TTL like 4 hours there? :D

Hahahahaha and now when I reloaded it’s all gone.

Anyway like people were saying the performance seemed to multiply by half the factor of the upgrade for some reason - so I guess you can guess the YABS really.

  • Congrats to emgh and Hetzner - they broke hastebin.com ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Finally some more arm cloud servers. The performance (cpu wise) is similar to oracle cloud arm but way cheaper with hetzner tho you are limited to a single region then.
It's also quite decent for game servers when you consider the low price.

  • Any nested virt on these?

  • did they increase prices or what lol?
