Ok finally found it via desktop computer browser, but don't see other eggs!
Oh Finally I start to get a hang of it, I now can spot now, wow really need sometime and focus, haha!
I saw for VPS 4000, yap, price is higher than the regular price....hmmm...
Compare disk and ram to regular offer, it has probably more of it.
Hmm cannot find the diff, plan name, specs looks all the same, unless its location fee?
only difference is : you save the 3,75€ fee for selecting Nurnberg as location instead of free random location

Thanks for showing the diff!!
Anyone bought anything?
Is Netcup webhosting performance good? Since they provide RAM WARRANTY!
nothing attractive, bad eggs
Should be working now (link). Not perfect, but can be helpful for folks looking for something in particular as well as to know what has been available lately.
Not yet. I'll probably grab a Webhosting 2000 SE OST23 to experiment with it. The main drawback I see is that they limit the number of external domains. If nginx reverse proxy can be tweaked, it should be able to perform pretty well.
You are right, not sure why mainly limit to .de domain names...hmm..
But like the ram allocation.
Yeah and Nginx reverse proxy: it can potentially work very well… Vpses are more fun, though!
VPS Carrot is not bad but it could be cheaper. (Nürnberg - 16 vCores - 36 GB RAM - 2300 GB SSD - 80 TB Traffic - 34.88). The kind of stuff @MikePT was looking for at last sale. Did you guys notice and were able to get any small VPS/RS?
@hapkido did you try their shared hosting? If so, how does it perform?
Nope, waiting for some feedback from those who did!
Mainly webhostinh for .de domains with them.
You can try to get the "Webhosting BunnyEars iv" Deal
it includes 3Domains with folowing tld to choose from:
at
ch
li
eu
co.at
Deal Details
Every hidden key is exclusive to your IP address, which means that if you share a link with other users, they will encounter an error page. To avoid this, you should visit a specific page, use the browser tool to search for "egg," and then copy and paste the corresponding product ID and product key. After that, you can open the following link: https://netcup.de/bestellen/produkt.php?hiddenkey={product_key}&produkt={product_id}. You're welcome!
WT* is this...?
Hahaa....not useful for me..
Hi folks, now that I signed up with Netcup vServer I noticed the 1Gbps is only true for European locations. To the US there appear to be some 200Mbps cap.
Is this a known fact? I tried to skim through the website, it just claims 1Gbps everywhere..
Have you tried manual speedtest? Don't use YABS speedtest, it's iPerf3. try Speedtest CLI. and use various USA servers.
Or you can just use this script:
bash <(curl -Ls https://raw.githubusercontent.com/L1so/benchy/main/benchy) -dgsr na && bash <(curl -Ls https://raw.githubusercontent.com/L1so/benchy/main/benchy) -dgr naor
bash <(curl -Ls https://raw.githubusercontent.com/su-haris/network-tester/master/speed.sh) -r naWhich Plan did you get?
Sysctl network tuning required, or BBR, but BBR improves the performance to further locations and degrades a little to nearer. Peering to other continents is a serious challenge for all providers. With netcup and network tuning 500--900 Mbps reachable to Uztelecom iperf3 yabs test.
I don't see why iperf should give different result when compared to speedtest-cli, and sure enough speedtest-cli/benchy gave the same speed for upload:
PHP-Friends/Avoro begs to differ
Already using BBR?
sudo nano /etc/sysctl.confthen add this line on bottom
then
sysctl -p or reboot
RS 1000 G9.5
Wow, I think the performance is great 👍
Ordered one, their nginx reverse proxy can be tuned quite well. I'll experiment more with it when I have more free time. So far it seems to perform quite well. Too bad that they don't allow more external domains.
Edit: with 12 external domains & 500GB storage Webhosting BunnyEars iv is indeed quite good. For the price I'd favor a VPS. But not having to manage the server can be nice for some projects...
