Better go with fiber, 10G RJ45 is expensive and consumes a lot of power.
Or maybe you can use DAC?

No vlan needed. Dumb would be okay.
I am also looking for a low cost solution for home. There is no point in having 10 gbps internet if my infrastructure does not go above 2.5
