What is the best way to go about searching for network admin on contract work?

Upwork perhaps.
Second UpWork. I've used it a few times for sourcing work, but have done most of my contractor work through them. Thankfully nearly all of my clients after a period have moved me off the platform (shh, don't tell the greedy UpWork folks). There are good people on the platform, just make sure you interview them well and they know their stuff. There are some gems out there, just need to find them.
Upwork or toptal.com would be my 2 suggestions as well.
