I have a need for a dedi server with at least the following:

• 2x2TB of HDD storage (ideally more)
• 1 small SSD/NVME for the host OS
• 4 cores
• 8GB RAM+
• 1-10G link

Is this asking too much?

Hello @pentago how many 4k stramings?is a dedicated server, from what I asked other clients who have this model of CPU is possible maximum 2 streams 4k 60 FPS, besides that we can add 4x 1.2 TB HDD total of 4.8 TB Space

Are you even talking about streaming or you are mixing up streaming with transcoding or encoding?

Even CPU from 2003 is capable of streaming "4K" videos, streaming is just forwarding data. Of course 4 core CPU is capable of copying 20-40Mb/s.

If you are planning to use the dedicated server for streaming videos,
I would look into a seedbox. There are seedbox providers like Ultra.cc that have plans that are perfect for streaming.
