Good luck with your sales. Hopefully, there will be a similar promo in the APAC locations too.

  • @hosthatch x5 bandwidth please, invoice 309726

This is super interesting because the standard prices are already pretty good, if you compare to standard pricing of other providers. 40% off brings it closer to Black Friday pricing.

How long is the sale for?

Yes, we're launching our new website on April 11th, and updated looking glasses in all locations is a part of it.

  • @hosthatch I may be picky but why do you give 900GB for 1TB offer ?
Other VPS providers gives 1000 GB / 1024 GB .
After all it is virtual disk and you slice it from a shared storage
Even 1 TB HDD gives you 937GB

We assign 1000GB, which is about 931GiB. Your OS might be eating up the rest of the space.

This is not just testing network throughput, but also disk IO (both on the server and on the client), kernel buffers, etc. iperf or ookla speedtest will give you a more accurate measurement.

If you want to not have the disk be a part of the test, and test just the network, then something like this would work:

    iperf3 -c testserver -p 5202 -P 4 -t 60 (example: # iperf3 -c la.speedtest.clouvider.net -p 5202 -P 4 -t 60)
