Anyone for sharing that?

  • If you are a school/college/university student, apply for GitHub Developer Pack. It has Azure subscriptions and also a DigitalOcean credit if I recall correctly.

  • You can also look for an affiliate link and register via that link to have your account credit pre-paid with a few dollars.

    Check this out: https://lowendbox.com/blog/free-vps-providers/

Vultr will give you $50 in credit to play with for 60 days.
DigitalOcean will give you $100 in credit that expires in 60 days, which is more enough to run some beefy services for a couple months.
And Linode also hands out $100 in credit for 60 days.
Atlantic.net offers a full year of free VPS. This includes a VPS, 50GB of block storage, and 50GB of snapshots. Check it out on atlantic.net’s signup page.
AccuWebHosting offers a one month free trial and it’s Windows-based, though after that you’re on the hook for $14.97/mo. It’s only 1GB of RAM, which is going to be pretty tight for Windows, but you can read more here.

If he is running a window xp with 1 gb ram then i would say ask your parent to buy a new device for you as it required to complete your school assignment.

For hosting wordpress with a million extension there are still few provider who offer free hosting with there sub-domain option. Google is your friend you can find many there.

Last option wait for few month , comment on some topics and there are microlxc , nanokvm , freevps.org option for you which are offered by this community

Oh thanks for telling that hosting for free are bad then in the first place you should not be looking for free VPS then.

Did you actually tried any free hosting provider ? If yes , how where they bad in what terms, can you elaborate.

  • Have you try use ur own computer as vps ?

Cloudflare Tunnel for both ssh and reverse proxy , uptime depend on you but am sure you dont need 99.9% SLA

Be active on this forum and then you can apply for NanoKVM or MicroLXC or FreeVPS.org once you meet the requirements.

Others have made some suggestions, but ultimately, if you want to run a site with WP, you need to consider paying something

If you are an actual student with a .edu email
    Microsoft does offer student programs.
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/students.

Awhile back Microsoft use to have a program called DreamSpark. Now I think its called Imagine.

Check with your IT department as they should know about this program as well.

  • I guess no but some nat vps maybe fit you

If it’s for learning purposes, just use WSL.

Or if you absolutely need to, there’s also Hyper-V.

    I suspect you are Chinese.

  • If you just want to put your words out to the internet, there are plugins to publish a Wordpress into static site, so you'll get free, zero latency worldwide with either GitHub Pages, Netflify or Cloudflare Pages.

Otherwise just run it from your home PC through Cloudflare Tunnel or whatever.
