This is the from end of month offers "netcup Aktionstag"
Thanks for the post, it seems to be going in/out of stock, I just managed to order one. Needed Nuremberg and slightly more than 160gb so this is ideal.
edit: Up and running, never had a hoster phone me before!
4k read/write is a bit slower than I was hoping for (disk is already set to virtio), the rest seems good for the price
hellyeah yabs with gb6!
Available again now if anyone is wanting it
I think this has different disks than the normal 160 GB edition
guess it's okay...
Ah, I didn't know that, thought it would have been the same disks but 320gb instead of 160. Oh well, it would have been nice for the 4k read/write to be a bit faster but for what I'll be using this for it's good enough.
Seems RS4000 G9.5 NUE SE KI23 also in stock at the moment
Part of me wants to get it as Netcup's been good to me. But I don't want another 12 months contract period with current plans if they happen to upgrade their offerings in the first part of the year
Wishing they'd push G10 root server packages out (or whatever they'll call it) already. Especially to oomph up the disk arrays performance just a bit
Hoping for 3rd gen EPYCs and PCIe 4.0 RAID of course with dedicated cores and those sweet prices of theirs
@_cece above has way better 4K speeds.
Ask support if they can increase your speeds to match his results and link them this thread
There is a chance that @_cece is on empty node and youre on loaded load that they just refill because of this promo.
Okay, I'm fine (Nooooooo!)
RS1000, but not from a sale. It feels like 4 vCores from an old E5, instead of 4 dedicated EPYC cores.
I was quite happy with the disk. But it decreased now. Not sure if I will keep this one...
